"We went to Canalview for a girls trip. Check in was easy, room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were very pleasant anf assisted with everything. Breakfast was great, it had everything we needed for the day and the setting was gorgeous. Front desk agent was helpful. Only issue was the heating, it was a very cold weekend and we needed more heat, thefe was a sucharge. There is also a surcharge for an extra blanket and pillows, and hair dryer"

"We had a trouble and it was nightmare to find the location GPS took us to a surreal haunted place where the building could not match the description of the building what we booked. It was 8 pm and when I tried to call at the number it said, it is not in use. although time to contact these people was until 10pm. A local tourist helped us to find the way out. "We booked last minute after an issue with our original accommodation. When we arrived the door was locked and nobody answered the phone for about 30 mins. When they finally answered we were told that the hotel didn’t work with hotels.com, but that they could provide a room for cash. I said that we wouldn’t be paying again at which point the owner became very rude and hung up the phone. Ended up staying at the lovely Hotel Rosenburg. Avoid Hotel Cavalier at all costs!!!"
