"It’s an older hotel but the room was very clean and well equipped in kitchen. Pool was too hot for swimming but the beach is right behind. Staff were excellent and accommodating. There is a restaurant right behind the building on the ocean, good food and you get a discount as a guest. Lots of restaurants, shops and bus within walking distance. We would stay again. "

"Had a nice stay at Hotel Sarabi. Did not know that there was not an ATM in Barra, or that the hotel did not accept credit cards (should've read the fine print closer!). But the Hotel Staff were very accommodating and willing to give us some time to get the cash to pay for the room. Was able to communicate alright with my basic Spanish, but the folks at the hotel did not seem to know much English (so a heads up if you do not speak Spanish, be ready to use a translator app or something). "The young woman managing the property is super friendly and efficient. Our apartment was clean, kitchen well stocked for simple meals, everything comfortable except the pillows. The rooftop terrace is a nice place to relax and enjoy some shade and breeze. Restaurants, beach, music within walking distance. Super safe and quiet area."
