"The hotel sent an email the day before arrival saying my reservation was cancelled due to "unavoidable circumstances". There was no additional explanation given. No refund was mentioned either and I was told to refer back to Hotels.com for any possible refund. This was the weekend of the local University's Homecoming/Student Preview which I was attending so it was impossible to find a replacement hotel on such short notice. My friends in the area said it was a good thing to not stay here though....

"I had to call because I was running late. Did not get there until after 10:30 PM. They were really nice about it. And waited for me. When first coming into the place at night, it looked a little creepy for a minute. But once we got to the room, it was very nice, very quiet. I'll meet out of concrete. So you cannot hear anybody else. The bathroom was nice. He had a refrigerator it had a microwave and coffee maker. The owners were really polite and nice after waking up in the morning. This was definitely an old motor court. We were able to park our car in our own little parking garage. I would highly recommend this, and I will come back next time. I come through Brownwood/Early Tx"
