"We love this hotel"

"Very pleased with my stay. The Manager upgraded our room for being members which was a pleasant surprise. Quiet room, very comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking garage is connected by a skywalk which felt safe and secure. Two restaurants below the hotel and walkable to many points of interest such as Van Andel and Intersection. Small outdoor patio area with a fireplace and ample seating. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Overall I would stay here again! "

"We had problems with our room keys a few times and had to keep going to the desk. The front desk was kind and assisted but it was a bit annoying when you can’t access your room or pool area when you need to. "

"I dare to say that I think I like this hotel better than the JW Marriott Downtown. This hotel is in the heart of everything, its got an amazing restaurant on the main level and another roof top bar/restaurant on the 8th floor. We had a corner room, service was amazing and I loved that it was a tossimo for coffee instead of normal crappy hotel coffee. I loved that they had a glass water bottle to fill with ice an water instead of water bottles. Everything was so great. We'll be staying here every...

"Clean and good free breakfast. Have stayed there twice now. It’s in a great location to walk to breweries. Only complaint is that on Sunday nights, some idiot on a motorcycle likes to tear down the street, and it is so loud. Has happened twice on Sunday a year apart."

"We had a great stay at this property with our grandsons while we visited downtown Grand Rapids, took in a show at the DeVos place. The location was convenient to many restaurants, venues and events. Parking was connected as well. The only complaint I would have is that the bed was very firm and uncomfortable. I understand that this is a preference - a bit of a pillowtop would be nice. It really was a good experience for us - thank you!"

"I had a good stay at the Holiday Inn. The room was very clean, everything you would expect. The only thing was that it’s too close to the highway and you could hear a lot of racing going on near the highway. It’s not the hotels fault. Also there are red wing black birds protecting its nest by the front door, got hit in the head by one of these birds. The hotel is close to everything museums the zoo and downtown I would still recommend. "
