« Ocracoke in the early spring is always a treat and this visit did not disappoint. Red Beard's Retreat is a little gem one block off Hwy 12 across from the village Variety store. Our unit was comfortably furnished and check-in was seamless. We had everything we needed and the housekeeper, Maria, lived upstairs and was always available to answer any questions we had. « This was what my wife and I needed. This place is in the most perfect location! Couple minute walk your on the sound looking at a beautiful sunset. Couple minute drive the other direction you’re on the ocean! Average drive to all the great food 5 minutes I’d say at most. Hot tub was ready when we arrived. Everything clean and perfect. « Second stay here. Love the location and the studio has everything you need. The hot tub was heavenly especially on the cold nights I was there. Met the owner this trip and Mark was very friendly and welcoming as always. A mile to the ferry which I took to Ocracoke and spent the day. Plenty to do on Hatteras so much history, shopping and beautiful beaches. Love it there! »

« The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. Walking to shops and restaurants was so easy. The waterfront was a block away. There was a pavilion you could look right at from the balcony or sit at the benches next to it. They had music on the weekend. The owner was super friendly, they even had wine and water in the fridge. You won't be disappointed in this nice place. »
