« College classmates from Ohio and Wisconsin met after sixty-four years to renew friendship, share memories, cook together, explore dunes and beaches. Weather was April spring--cool but pleasant walking the beaches, exploring dunes, watching white waves, feeling the lake breeze. Michigan City is not just a summer vacation spot! « This place worked well for a short trip visiting Indiana Dunes. The only issue we had was that the cleaning crew hadn’t come by before we got there, but that was likely just a fluke and the host was very quick to respond when I messaged him about it and had it completely taken care of within an hour. Michigan City is a good location to find nearby restaurants and is just 10 minutes to the eastern side of the National Park. »

« We came to the Market House for our 7 year wedding anniversary. The space was perfect for the two of us. On Saturday we were heading to the Indiana Dunes State Park and walked out to a farmer's market in the parking lot behind the building. We're big hikers so we did the 3 dune challenge, but I saw there was an outlet mall nearby if shopping is more your speed. There's also a tram that runs through the area and into Chicago if you need a day trip to the big city. Easy in, easy out, dedicated...

« We wanted to do some outlet shopping. This lovely old house is right across the street from the mall. It was very clean and well furnished. The beds were comfy and the neighborhood was quiet. We had a lovely weekend. »

« We loved our stay at the Cozy Getaway! We brought our two large breed dogs and their dog-sitter, Furbo. If you have dogs that react to noise you'll want to be aware this space is one of 4 units in this lovely remodeled century home. We had to make the owner aware of an issue with the air conditioning not working and they promptly sent their handyman to save the day! « We truly enjoyed this fun and unique apartment in the heart of downtown LaPorte IN. The decor is delightful, and the host has thoughtfully left everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The location is great if you want to tour antique shops there are several in walking distance, along with other shops and restaurants. « Our family of three adults plus one dog really enjoyed our stay. This property is very clean, attractive, and had extra touches that made us feel comfortable and welcome. Beds were comfortable.
