The apartment was pretty clean and the owner answered quickly. I would say if you struggle going up and down stairs be cautious because you have to walk up some stairs to get to the apartment itself. This air bnb was affordable had parking and was only a short drive to many great attractions. Attractions like Washington Park Beach, Indiana Dunes, lighthouse premium outlets, and Bass Pro Shop in Portage. Also great local restaurants like Kolasa's Polish restaurant and Chickpea(Mediterranean Food). We would most definitely and do plan on staying here again! ##### Joshua R. Not bad for two people, however if it were anymore, it would be too crowded. There were significant stains on one of the main couches and for that reason we didn’t even hang out in the living room due to the stains. The host is great I will say that and the check in was very easy. Disclaimer: IF YOU ARE A LIGHT SLEEPER, do not stay here, the walls are paper thin and you can hear all the condos around you and everything they are saying and at night there are constant train sounds and sirens. Luckily for us, we were heavy sleepers, but we definitely heard everything. The kitchen has adequate utensils and the linens were clean enough. The only issue we had was that the cleaning crew hadn’t come by before we got there, but that was likely just a fluke and the host was very quick to respond when I messaged him about it and had it completely taken care of within an hour. Michigan City is a good location to find nearby restaurants and is just 10 minutes to the eastern side of the National Park. ##### Laura B.
