Top Tybee Island Historic Hotels

Lighthouse Cottage--1.5 blocks from beach.
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (240)
"We had a great time in this darling beach cottage. It is in the historic Fort Screven area of Tybee and just about a 3 minute walk to the Gulick Street beach access. This is my third trip to Tybee Island and I enjoyed this house the best. The house was SPOTLESS!! It is also the best stocked of ANY vacation rental I have stayed in any where. There were no problems with the house so the only time I had to talk with the owners was to tell them it was still standing after Hurricane Helene...

"We had an amazing time. We were at the top part of the condo and it was just breathtaking! We got there late but honestly it was wonderful! Anytime I messaged Ted was extremely quick to respond and we had no trouble with communication at all! It was very very clean and the location was perfect! Pretty easy to find and about 15 minutes away from everywhere we went. It was so beautiful and so calming and the beds were super comfortable. We would absolutely love to come back! For it being my first...

"Stayed here for a mother-daughter trip & loved it! Very clean rooms, delicious breakfast, & a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Beach towels and other basics are provided to you. Only a few minutes from the marine science center, lighthouse, etc. My only tiny complaint is that our room on the first floor was a little tight and would probably be better for a solo traveler, but I know they can’t do much regarding room sizes! Overall 5 stars :)"
