“Great staff and location”
First visit to the area. We really enjoyed our stay.
“Great value”
We were there for a couple of nights but these studio style rooms would work well for longer stays, especially for golfers. Lovely surroundings, well stocked rooms - no skimping on toiletries/ coffee etc., helpful staff, all for a very nominal rate. Did not try the hotel restaurants so can't comment - there are some good restaurants nearby.
“We will recommend to all our friends, especially our golfing and tennis friends.”
The in-room check-in is excellent. We were concerned about the gate entrance but they were well prepared for us. The staff was ready and waiting as we approched the lodge. This is simply a beautiful place and we hope to visit again.
“Desert Hideaway”
Great place to enjoy the desert. Excellent staff with a private in-room check-in. Wonderful dinners, and a golf experiance unlike any other.
“Lodge Lover”
We had a great stay at the Lodge at Ventana Canyon. The check in precedure was easy and they were extremely helpful in accomodating our needs. We only stayed for one night but our room was clean, quiet, lots of room and very comfortable.!
“A good value and a wonderful location”
The rooms were spacious and the bed comfortable. The Lodge shared the golf course and walking trails with Loews. The restaurants at Loews were wonderful and were preferable to that at the Lodge. My only complaint, the "Resort Fee". Pretty useless when you could easily park your own car. The staff were very courteous, although not always as knowlegable about the restaurants and tourist sites as I would have liked. The walking trails were wonderful. Check in and out was a breeze.
“A Very Nice Experience”
The lodge was very nice and the grounds were beautifully maintanined. I'm not a golfer but the course looked terrific. The room was quite large but is one large room and not a seperate bedroom type of suite. Very quiet and away from most of the Tucson traffic. The restaurant was a bit pricey, but the staff made some great recommendations for dinner at local restaurants (one mexican and one steakhouse).
“Loved the place....”
I fell in love with this lodging. They could not do enough to please us. My wife is handicapped and required extra services which they provided with a smile. I will be back.
“relax at The Lodge at Ventana Canyon”
We spent 4 days there. Wish it could have been 4 weeks. Beautiful setting. Great location. Workout room and steam/sauna/jacuzzi are 5 star.
“Very Nice Indeed.”
What was not to like. Well actually there was one little thing but it was a peeve with Expedia really. This was one of those book it before you see it deals. No problem there. I was familiar with the area so I was sure the price was excellent. And it was. The problem. I found out about a nightly resort fee AFTER I booked. Okay so it's a nit picky thing because I still super rate per night for what I would consider a four star plus property. But it's the principle of the thing. I would have liked to have known what the full fees were going to be before I made my decision. They did give me the taxes and other fees so what's the big deal about not disclosing the resort fee? Come on now. Other than that I thought the hotel was superb.
