“Tally Ho to the Valley Ho!”
Fantastic place! 60's Retro meets 2012 chic! This hotel has a unique style and ambience and must be experienced. The internet pickies hardly do it justice.
“Great hotel!”
We loved this place. I was skeptical since it was so inexpensive. Man, we were surprised when we arrived! The style (mid century modern) was so cool and different from anything we have ever stayed in. The service was great, especially at the pool (which is where we spent most of our days there). We can't wait to go back.
“Outstanding MC Modern”
Loved the whole stay. Exactly what I dreamed of in a mid-century modern hotel.
“Hotel Valley Ho!!”
Great Time at the Hotel Valley Ho, not only was this a great pick by my girlfriend, but the locals seemed to love the hotel as well for their w/e getaways as well. You're within walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Scottsdale.
“Can't wait to go back.”
Room comfortable, spacious and clean, we like the separate shower and tub. All staff very obliging. Had dinner on three different occasions in the dining room which we enjoyed. Area very quiet at night. You can pick up the complementary shuttle on the street in front of the hotel, which takes you to Fifth Ave. shops Fashion Square Mall.
“Outstanding Service”
I read many reviews before making a reservation. Thankfully we were there off season so the was no rowdy pool party. I'll give a couple examples of the outstanding customer service- First, the front desk. I was greeted with a smile which is what I would expect from any hotel, but what was different was how he handled my question about parking. I hate valet parking. I don't like to pay to let someone I have never met drive my car, beside I have heard way too many horror stories of valets and porters who mange to total a Viper in the 5 minutes they are responsible for it. I asked if I could just pay and then park it myself. He told me I needed to ask the Valet. I didn't want to bother with asking, I just decided to park in the back in the free lot. When I came back to the front desk the same guy told me that he went ahead and spoke to the valet and that it would be fine for me to park the car myself in the garage. I thought that was above and beyond the call of duty! Secondly, as we were wandering around trying to find our room, a maintenance noticed that we looked confused and kindly walked us to our room. I might have expected that from a manager or a bellman, but even the maintenance guy understood the value of great customer service. My wife loved the hotel, it was a huge hit with her. The decor is REALLY well done. I was actually sad to leave. I only need an excuse to go to Scottsdale again so we can stay at Valley Ho again.
“retro cool”
Second time I've stayed here. I think it's great.
“Great Experience”
The hotel was clean and inviting. The service was exceptional, the food delicious and the spa treatments extraordinary!
“A must for scottsdale.”
efficient and friendly staff. Moved to this hotel, was booked at the Mondrian. Little did I know that the two front people where rude and incapable of helping a customer that was staying for 12 nights. Tensions escalated between the front people and myself. Little did they know that in a split of a second I changed my booking to the valley ho. If you want to rough it and have an insulting experience go the the Mondrian scottsdale, you never know what is awaiting you???? Overall the Valley will do if for me next time. A must in scottsdale
“We love Hotel Valley Ho!”
The online photos and reviews of this hotel is what made my husband and I choose Scottsdale for our Anniversary. We were not disspointed when we arrived and the entire stay was enjoyable. This hotel exceeded our expectations. We expected it to be nice but wow. The hotel was very afforadble which is why we were so surprised by the what we saw when we arrived. The environment was so comforting and everything is at your fingetips. You could literally stay in your room and have everything brought to you. There is a refridgerator with a mini-bar , a snack drawer, it was great. The food in the ZuZu Cafe was very delicious as well. We ate there a lot during our 6 day stay. The location is great as well. It is located in the Arts district of Scottsdale. There are many resturants, theaters and museums within miles of the hotel. Overall we had a great stay and would stay there again.
