“Can't wait to experience Arizona's finest again!!!”
Upon our arrival we were given rides to our rooms in golf carts. The hotel restaurants appetizers and dinner entres are delicous (ex. tuna tartar - a sushi lover's must have, lobster asparagus soup, and filet mignon cooked to perfection) The pool area was fantastic for tanning, drinking, and hanging out with friends. All Cellular phones are banned in the pool are. The spa is to die for. I enjoyed a facial that relaxed my heavily and my girlfriend enjoyed a royal pedicure which she had many good things to say about. This hotel is a must for those wanting the perfect tanning poolside , spa treatment loving, and fantastic food eating weekend. My girlfriend and group of friends we spent time with at this hotel all are looking forward to our return here very soon.
“Definitely going back, this time with my husband!”
Visited for the first time with my daughter after her high school graduation. Can't wait to go back! An absolutely gorgeous setting, super staff, tranquil and relaxing, with excellent food. Put me in a great mood! (until I had to come home.)
“Ultimate relaxing getaway”
Our Casita was fantastic and the overall setting of the resort was perfect for a relaxing getaway. My wife and I truly loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.
“Excellence at its BEST”
This resort certainly lives up to its name!! Very peacefully tucked away with dramatic panoramic views. The service at the entire resort was impecable down to the staff calling you by name. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best experience ever! The cleanliness of the villa was perfect. As part of the turn down service, candles are lit to create a peaceful and relaxing ambiance, and they also leave a little something sweet on your pillow. Room service was timely, accurate, and not to mention delicious with extreme portions. The grounds are extremely well kept. If you can stand the heat, I say go in the off season to avoid the crowds. Less people means more time for them to fuss over YOU!! Afterall, you're on vacation and someone should fuss over you. Needless to say, this is the perfect getaway in Paradise!!
“Perfect place to relax”
Stayed for a week at the end of May. The room was very comfortable (although I would have preferred it a little cleaner - they didn't vacuum under the desk - also the pool wasn't skimmed often enough to keep bugs/leaves out). The bed of a piece of heaven and I loved the tub and bath salts they provided. We had a room with a deck on it, which was awesome. Otherwise it might have seemed a little cramped. The room isn't plush by any means - concrete walls, dark carpets, and showing some wear and tear, but still very comfy. Service was excellent. Greeted right away with bottles of water and given a little tour of the main areas and a reservation at Elements restaurant (which was really delicious) and had a great view. Went to our room and then left to walk the grounds and when we returned, a beautiful fruit/cheese/crackers tray and more water was waiting. The workout facilities are top-notch, with a little bamboo garden right outside. Loved our time there and would stay again in a heartbeat. It's not a place for people who want to party and do a lot of activity though. It's perfect for people who want to relax and unwind in peace.
“Will probably return next year for a longer stay”
Everything about the Sanctuary was excellent. We enjoyed the pool, the views, and the staff was on top of everything. This was a very relaxing trip.
“Adult Getaway”
Great place for couple looking for a mature and relaxing atmosphere. The service was unbelievable. 5 star in everyway. Dining at the Element was amazing. The food was very good and the view was delightful. Not a place for children, even teens. This is a place for couple to enjoy each other's company.
“Gorgeous Gettaway”
Sanctuary is solid. Their staff greats you and takes care of all your needs from the second you arrive to the moment you depart. The casitas are large and very comfortable, and teh hotel grounds are very beautiful.
“pleasant experience”
Stayed at Sanctuary over Christmas weekend. Service and grounds beyond reproach. Thought it overpriced, though. Not all rooms have balconies, only the suites. The views are not the same from all the rooms. The best are higher up on the hill. Rooms higher up are newly remodeled. Rooms are generous in size, but splurge on a suite if you can afford it. They are huge, with large balconies. The pool and exercise room are very well kept and the service is awsome.
“Rejuvenating”
The view was amazing, the service was great, the pool was refreshing. The pool staff was very friendly and accomodating. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who comes to Arizona.
