“wonderful hotel”
Very nice and comfortable hotel, friendly staff, they are in the middle of uptown Sedona so close to restaurants and shops but in a side street so you don't have the noise, quiet and peaceful!
“Excellent”
Excellent, will stay again. Friendly staff. Excellent food and beverages.
“A great stay in Sedona!”
We just stayed at the Amara Resort & Spa 3/11/12 and had a wonderful stay. We traveled with my husband and two daughters ages 15 & 17. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They are down a unique hill off of the center of Sedona but the location is wonderful. My husband just had knee surgery so he could not walk up or down the hill to get to town but that was not a problem. The hotel shuttle van was right there within one minute each time we needed it. Derick was especially wonderful, he was in charge of valet and the shuttle and could not be more accomodating. The weather was rather cool for swimming and they are redoing there pool and fire pit area. They had made arrangements with the hotel next door to use there pool is the guests wished to. The rooms very very clean and the beds were SO comfortable. The rooms were nice and quiet. There was no noise from the halls and I am a particular person so I notice these things. The bathrooms were nice, clean and large. I would rate our stay there five stars. We definitely intend to stay with the Amara again. If we were able to stay longer I might have used the spa but I was more interested in seeing the splendid sites of Sedona.
“Great stay except construction”
Great hotel. The only problem was that the entire pool area was undergoing rennovations. We were not notified of this until two days before we arrived. Somewhat disappointing. The staff was great and was able to suggest several wonderful hikes around the Sedona area.
“Nice romantic getaway”
Great, comfortable hotel in the heart of uptown Sedona. Just be careful, all the good places to get food close at 9pm including the hotel.
“Hisham Abed”
Gorgeous creek side resort, with great food, hospitality and location. This was our second trip to Sedona and our second stay at the resort. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the spa and we both enjoyed the food. Easy access to downtown shops.
“Excellent views, service & amenities”
This resort is spectacular. In the heart of Sedona - walking distance to the main street shops and restaurants - but far enough away that it is a quiet oasis. Excellent service (free golf cart transportation, free morning yoga classes and more!), beautiful views in which the architeture and landscaping frames, and comfortable beds.
“Totally Relaxing!!”
The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in. It was hard to ever want to leave the spa and the Yoga class was transcendental! Total relaxation!
“Quaint with quality service!”
This resort is right on Oak Creek and relaxation is the key! The stargazing on the lawn at night was amazing and walking along the creek in the morning, peaceful. The staff were professional, helpful and friendly :)
“Excellent Resort and Spa”
Great location, great spa, wonderful friendly staff. This is an excellent place to stay
