“Extremely great value for the money”
This was a spectacular hotel for the money. I booked it through Expedia's unpublished specials and the price was very low. For the price, the quality was top-notch. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Also excellent amenities and location.
“Good basic motel convenient to Western Toronto Suburbs”
Stayed here several times over the years while visiting relatives. Quite clean, and staff is quite friendly. This time, non-smoking room smelled a little smoky, but odor seemed to come from recently laundered comforter, which probably was a little singed from the dryer. Great supply of hot water for the shower Room came with a refrigerator and microwave, not advertised. We did not have time to use it. First floor rooms have sliding doors, which are handy in to bring in luggage. They are equipt with secure locks, so we have not felt unsafe. Also, new this trip was wireless high speed internet (they charge). Attached to the hotel is a Golden Griddle restaurant, which is sort of like a Denny's but MUCH BETTER. And in Canada, almost all restaurants have full bars (very handy).
“Great place for those on a budget”
I was surprised by the new parking fee which was not the charged last year. It's only $5.00 but it was not mentioned at the time of reservation. Still it's inexpensive and a great location near the airport.
“Just a Place to Sleep”
Impressions: 1) conveniently located off major highway; 2) good restaurant located adjacent to hotel, with breakfast buffet on the weekend; 3) night-time check-in (around 1:20 am) took about 25 minutes, with about 3 people ahead of me, in part because there was only the desk clerk; 4) two-floor hotel, but no elevator for bags or persons with a disability; 5)room didn't have a clock radio and when I called the desk clerk to report it, returned to room the next evening and it still wasn't there. However, a few minutes later, he knocked on my door and provided one from another room. 6) about the best sound and easy to set time and 'wake-up'from a clock radio in this price-level hotel/motel I've experienced in some time; 7) tub/shower had a 'built-in' mat, making it safe to use the shower, without worrying about slipping and falling; 8) shower head wasn't capable of being adjusted to 'widen' the flow. Also, it needed to be tightened to prevent water from rolling down the stall; 9) Bed and pillows very comfortable; 10) Must admit, the Expedia price was the best...and so, given the rate was much lower than for those who reserved through the "Conference Rate", I've no real complaints. 7)
“A Bed And A Phone”
The hotel was conveniently situated near some personal friends of ours, and we're from out of town, which was why we chose it. It's a Comfort Inn, so I didn't expect to get the Taj Mahal. It was a servicable bed, functional air conditioning, and a working local phone. That's all we needed. The Bad: The sink had some strange brown junk that looked like tobacco chaw, stuck to the basin. The enamel was peeling off the tub. The towel rack pulled free of the wall when I tried to hang a towel on it. The windows were fogged over with dirt and dust. The hallway reeked of cigarette smoke, even though we were in the non-smoking wing. Coffee was offered, but it was dispensed from a push-top thermos (in other words, they were expecting you to get your coffee elsewhere). The Good: The other renters were very quiet. The air-con worked great. There were a few half-decent restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was only about 20 minutes from the American terminal at Pearson. It was also only about 15 minutes from Meadowvale Village, where our friends live.
“ok but not great”
two floors, no elevator - required carrying heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs to second floor rooms. parking and shuttle to airport were appreciated
“Good Stay, But”
good hotel for the price, but there was no bill boy to help carry the luggage. I had to carry 6 pieces luggage to the room by myself.
“Was ok”
The location of this hotel was good for what we were there for. (bar n flea market) but what they call a queen room is a double with a queen size headboard. The staff were friendly but confused about what they were doing. Also the vending machines in the hallways were empty n they asked you to then go to the front desk to buy. Ok fine but why have the vending machines then? It was ok though if your just looking for some where to crash.

1st night okay - second night cooling system not operating properly
“Not a happy camper!”
We were not advised that we had to take a smoking room because we had a toy poodle. The room reeked of smoke and the windows had to be left open during the duration of our stay. I feel that Expedia should have advised us of that limitation.
