When asked for restaurant recommendations and activities in area - not very helpful - “there is a restaurant around the corner” “ market up the street” I would recommend the property -just an observation -usually front desk -concierge is usually friendlier "

Charleston is a friendly and polite city and everyone we encountered at the hotel was very professional but also warm and friendly. True Charleston hospitality. "Beautiful hotel overlooking the mountains. The Sunset Terrace is the perfect spot to watch the sunset while having a drink or dinner. Two large stone fireplaces in the main lobby add to the ambiance. The rooms are clean and well appointed. There are several restaurants to choose from, including an ice cream shop and gift shops. In my opinion the only place to stay in Asheville"
