"Worth a stay"
Nice room. Good eats as the restaurant in the hotel. Bar tender and Bar were fantastic. But it lacks a little soul. Staff was pleasant but always busy head down in laptops and phones. For example my room had a leak in the celing from the tub upstairs and they quickly moved me to a nicer room across the hall. No worries, but the staffer while pleasant was out of his depth. Despite me helping clean and manage the flows of water coming from the ceiling I barely existed as we came and went over the next few days. Alex the bartender was the bright spot he engaged and was a pure delight. Would I stay again defintly but I do it for work and not vacation where I want people to look me in the eye and say hello rather than be annoyed that I'm interrupting their texting or tinder date.

"Excellent hotel in the centre of Stockholm!"
Came to Stockholm to attend a wedding, and can thoroughly recommend the HTL. It's location was excellent, especially as we had got the bus from the airport to the Central Station, which is just around the corner! We had to visit friends in Gamla Stan, and that was only 10 minutes away too. Excellent. The room had everything we needed, charging points, dark curtains, a friendly bar!

"Good value hotel"
Though this is not a centrally located hotel, it is only 20-30 mins walk from hotel to old town. The tramline is under repair at the moment but you can take a bus for 1 stop to go to the nearest T-Bann if needed (we never did as the weather was good for walking , approx 10 mins). The hotel is clean and the rooms are nicely presented. We stayed in 2 different family rooms (we travelled to Aland in the week) and they are both roomy (we have a 2 years old) and Room 101 is the bigger one. Free coffee facility is great in the lobby. The hotel "shop" sells basic food like sandwiches which are reasonably priced. ICA supermarket is just next door so you can grab takeaaway breakfast/lunch/dinner from there. We can recommend the Japanese restaurant Tezukuri Sushi by the waterside and the posh bakery Magnus Johansson Bageri & Konditori on the main shopping street. We are used to suburbian living in London so Motel L location is just like travelling in from Zone 3/4 to Zone 1 - no big deal.

"A hotel with great view"
I read a couple of reviews and decided to book this hotel because it is on a hill with great view overlooking the harbor and old town. The hotel staff responded to my request and gave me a room with great view! There is a garden beside the hotel that makes the environment very pleasant. The hotel staff were very responsive to my questions or request while I stayed there. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. They put a curtain that can block the long-day sunlight. It has a kitchen on each floor, however it was closed when the staff were off duty. I did not know that and I was hoping to make a cup of coffee after coming back from my tour. Unfortunately I had no chance to use it since the reception was closed (a bit disappointed...). The bathrooms were clean and available. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants so eating out is not an issue. There are several buses going to old town and city center (#2 bus is the most frequent one). I bought a 3-day bus pass and found taking buses very convenient. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
