“Clean, Modern, Convenient”
The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Minimalist / Scandinavian design = minimal closet or dresser space. Include the breakfast option: was superb and a real time saver. Across the street from a Metro stop = easy access everywhere. Free WiFi would have been the icing on the cake (but, alas, is ~$30 for 7 days, unlimited...not too bad).
“Filthy Hotel.”
I am not a neat freak, but this hotel was one of the dirtiest ones that I have ever stayed at. The hallway smelled horrible (like dust), the walls and carpet were so filthy. The carpet had huge stains and was even coming up in places in the hallway on my floor. There were cigarette butts on the carpet that were there for over 8 hours in the day (people had stomped them out on the carpet presumably because the carpet looked so trashed). The hallway base boards were covered in dust and the walls were all beat up. The bathroom in my room was coevered with someone's hair (like a grizzly bear had stayed in my room). Worst of all, the people at the front desk did not care that my room was dirty on checkin or that the smell of hallway got me and my wife sick (even when I showed them pictures from my iPhone). The pros. Amazing location (can't be beat).
“The Nordic Light”
The Nordic Light's location was perfect. A five minute walk from the train station, but not in a crummy neighborhood. There were lots of reasonable restaurants nearby and the Old Town, Gamla Stan, was easily within walking distance as well.
“Would go back”
Great hotel.. nice lobby .. very good service and extremely convenient location..just outside the Central Station from where you can get the Arlanda Express to the airport and the train through the city... A little bit on the expensive side but everything of good quality is like that in Stockholm. Would definitely go back .

Location is terrific. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If lucky to be back in Stockholm we would definitely stay at this hotel!

“Nice Hotel”
Clean hotel, great service and amenities. Only issue was that when we booked, it said breakfast buffet was included, and it said this on our itinerary print out as well, but they said it was a mistake and breakfast was not included. Other than that all was great. Had free internet and computers with printer which was great. Was a 1 minute walk to Train Station, and 10 mins or so to Gamla Stan and other tourist areas!
