"Clean, quiet, well-furnished, good breakfast"
This is a big step up from Motel 6: good furnishings and linens, quiet, clean, more space. The "deluxe continental breakfast" included Belgian waffles, chopped ham, French toast, fruit. Only thing missing was a table suitable for eating dinner - the one table was more a desk. We used the ironing board :-)

"Boutique Hotel "
The hotel was quaint and comfortable. Very rustic. Many antiques throughout. There was some dust here and there in our room. It looked like they hadn't used the room often or the air conditioner needed new filters. A quick walk through would probable have solved the problem. The linens were clean and white. Many restaurants were nearby yet we drove to an Italian favorite on Division st. Street parking wasn't a problem with no charge after 7PM until 8 AM.

"Nicely renovated hotel"
This is a nicely renovated hotel in the heart of downtown Spokane, close to several restaurants and shops and also a short walk to the riverfront park. The staff is friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast is sufficient.

"Nice business class hotel. Big on service. "
Needed a downtown hotel so we could sightsee the area easily without the use of cabs. Glad we choose the Comfort Inn University District. Although a little tough to get to because of the maddening one way street system in Spokane, it was well worth the search. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable for sure. They also had an indoor pool / spa and a small gym. Easily with in walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Local buses made it a snap to see the rest of the sites. Will definitely come back again when I'm in the area.

"We had so much fun!"
The staff were very helpful and the room was wonderful. It was clean, large and the bathroom had a shower that had multiple jets as well as numerous products for getting clean! The hotel is beautiful and we had so many choices on what to do while we were there. This one we will do again!

"Wonderful hotel - but bring earplugs (trains)!"
We spent last Friday night at Ruby2. The hotel is in a great location downtown, walkable to everything we wanted to see. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were extra friendly and helpful. We coudn't figure out why the room was so affordable...until the first train went by! And then another train what felt like every 20 minutes after that. Ruby2 is located right next to the train tracks, so make sure you pack your earplugs if you want to sleep through the night. Our stay included a free breakfast, of which we did not partake, but the waffles smelled delicious. I can vouch for the coffee (Thomas Hammer roasters) - very good. We would definitely stay at Ruby 2 or The Ruby on our next trip to Spokane. With earplugs in tow!

"First time to Spokane"
We had not previously been to Spokane and wanted to check out the downtown area. This hotel could not have been in a better location!! Walking distance to everything downtown and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good and the evening reception with beer and wine was a nice surprise. We will definitely stay here again!

"Just what we needed"
I needed a handicap accessible room for my mom, on the north side. This motel fit the bill perfectly! We did have quite a wait at the desk because of an influx of firefighters which was understandable. Free cookies were a nice touch.
