Nice kitchenette is equipped with cups, dishes, utensils, pots, electric tea kettle, electric skillet, etc., for cooking. Has built-in fold-down Breakfast nook table. Table seats 2 persons. Includes a small refrigerator and freezer, built-in microwave, granite counter tops, granite sink, blender, traditional coffee maker + a bagel toaster. e. River contains native rainbow trout, introduced brown trout, Sucker-fish, Brook trout and Mountain Whitefish. If you’re not an angler, the Little Spokane runs through Riverside State Park and offers miles of hiking trails. Try the loop beginning at Painted Rocks in the Little Spokane. Discover views of Long Lake and Spokane River. THE FOREST: Our Guest house opens to the outdoors, river & forest. This exposure to nature provides an inspirational relaxing effect. Japanese call it 'Shinrin-Yoku' which translates to 'forest bathing'. The setting was peaceful and relaxing, a perfect retreat. Rick was very helpful upon check-in, taking the time to show us how everything in the home worked and sharing great information about the area. My only regret is not having more time to simply enjoy the tranquility of the house and its beautiful surroundings. My husband and I enjoyed the tiny house, the location is peaceful and relaxing. Very quiet place. It is truly a Tiny House, you can’t stand up straight in the loft bedroom. The bed is very comfortable though. We enjoyed the Blackstone grill on the deck. The hot tub was also a welcome addition. Outside a downside was that a tree dropped so much sticky red staining debris it was impossible to walk out there without getting them stuck on our shoes. It ruined my slippers. The tables and chairs also covered with this stuff. The slow moving river was great and we saw deer, river otters and lots of geese and their babies. I recommend this place for 1-2 people who want a relaxing time away. ##### Michelle M. The booking process, and the communication with the ownership was excellent. We highly recommend the tiny house for all types of travelers and vacationers! We were so pleasantly surprised by the lush beauty of the lawn, rolling down to the river. The tiny house was very thoughtfully laid out. We enjoyed a morning hot tub, and the chance to watch some wildlife that visited this sanctuary. We felt very welcome and enjoyed learning about this river environment. The little house is extremely well thought through, has many amenities not expected, the owner clearly shows exceptional organizational skills putting so much into such a small space. The cabin was comfortable, clean and was a perfect spot to spend the Holiday. We were able to snow shoe and ski MtSpokane and cooked big dinners in the updated kitchen, watched movies on the HUGE TV with surround sound, played games next to the fire, sat in the hot tub and slept like kings in the comfy beds. Found this gem for my nephews wedding in Colbert. We were only 6 minutes away so it was perfect. We loved staying in a real log cabin and the place was clean and decorated nicely so it felt like home. We enjoyed several fiocks of Canadian geese that flew right over the river. It was beautiful! We also enjoyed the deer that came through every morning and evening. Our family that lives in Colbert loved the house too and will recommend to people who visit them and need a place to stay. It was a perfect long weekend and the host Rick was great. He made sure we had everything we needed while there. We will definitely stay again when visiting family there. Séjour de 4 nuits en septembre 2022 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Joseph d. 31 août 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Property was nice, property manager was not Overall this house is a good place to stay at if you have a lot of people, but the property management makes you climb through a bunch of hoops in order to stay there. A few days before my stay, which had my friends staying there for my wedding, I get a call with a lot of questions on what I was doing there, what type of people are staying there even though I already gave them a list of anyone that was stepping foot on the property, and why I was renting a car when I live in Spokane. He then threatened to cancel my reservation a few days before my wedding date if I did not "convince" him why my group should get to stay. I get they have probably had their place trashed in the past, but that is the risk you take with hosting big houses like this and that is why you have insurance. My group left this place spotless and I got a bad taste in my mouth about this whole experience. Also, the river on the property is not swimmable. It is pretty gross water and you are not supposed to swim in the little spokane river. ##### Joseph d.
