“Ted bien HVQ”

We wanted a clean comfortable hotel for while we were sight seing in Quebec, and this hotel was all that and more. They had a DVD collection you could borrow from on nights you were to tired to go out and enjoy the charming city, free wifi and computer access as well as a decent breakfast delivered to your door every morning. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was well spoken in English and French and polite. The hotel it's self is well located very clean and was beautifully decorated both outside and in for the holidays. All this and a carbon neutral hotel!

“Great Small Hotel in Old Quebec!”

A nice small hotel in the old city of quebec. Wonderful guided walking tour complementary to hotel guests. There is a very good bistro attached to the hotel and a basket of breakfast treats arrives at your door each morning with fruit, yogurt and pasteries. This hotel is a great value for your money and the hotel staff is very helpful and friendly.

“Thrilled with this hotel!”

Just stayed 4 days at this hotel and it was wonderful. The location is excellent - within walking distance of everything. The street has many restaurants and an excellent one connected to the hotel. Staff was very courteous and helpful and fluent in English. The continental breakfast arrived in a picnic basket on your door in the morning and had more food than we could eat. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. I've stayed in many hotels in Quebec city and this is always my favorite. Great location, great service. I will definitely recommend it to many of my friends.

Area recommendations

Old Quebec, inside the walls. Visited Upper Town one day and Lower Town the next. Then went to Place Laurier to shop. Ate at very good restaurants - fondue at Le Petit Chateau (next to the Chateau Frontenac), Le Cochon Dingue in Lower Town (ribs were excellent), Le Petit Coin Breton (very good crepes), La Nouvelle France in Rue du Trésor. We enjoyed everything!

“Couldn't be better”

This is a great little hotel, perfectly situated in the heart of Vieux Quebec. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.

“Very nice experience”

The best part was the friendiness of the front desk people. They were always willing to help out with recommendations. There is a 1.5 hour free walking tour every day offerred by the hotel and that was welcome. We also were treated by a pianist in the lounge for two hours one evening. Free popcorn and movies made our stay very relaxing. The room was comfortable except the bathroom is tiny (only room for one at a time). Very clean throughout. Cute breakfast basket but after 4 days we wanted a new type of muffin. Don't depend on the room fridge to cool anything as it is really just a cooler. Luckily we had a small cooler and kept ice in it to keep fruit and milk cold for the week. The parking was $14 per day which is cheap and almost right across the street which was great. All in all a very nice hotel.

“Great People and Location”

“Couldn't be Better”

This Hotel is smack dab in the middle of Old Quebec, you couldn't get a better location. A 10 minute walk covered all locations including Lower Town. The exterior sports an old world look while the interior is totally modern and spotlessly clean. All of the staff are very polite, totally professional but also genuinely warm and above all helpful. 3 Restaraunt recommendations were perfect. They also introduced us to Ecobus, a minibus which travels all over the Old part of the City for a dollar each! (Exact Change only) There is a stop almost directly across from the Hotel to the left. We arose in the morning to find a small picnic basket on our Room Door each day with OJ, 4 Croissants, two apples and two yogurts and some jam and maple butter spreads. Arguably the best Hotel we have ever stayed in and we travel significantly!!
