"The staff was very friendly , but I felt they were short handed at the restaurants and the poolside . We had dinner at the Italian restaurant and my wife ordered ice cream for dessert and by the time we received it was all melted . We have stayed in many Secrets before and this is the first time we felt it was not to our expectations , I will say the sushi stand and the Olio restaurant on the 6th floor were very good . "

"Adorable rustic beach hotel, lovely and extremely helpful staff, great area, beach access, gorgeous views and facility, and excellent value for the money. My only complaint is there is no safety lock on the room doors, just a plain lock-and-key mechanism. Even the though I hung the “do not disturb” sign on the door, the cleaning woman still knocked loudly on my door as I was sleeping and opened the door since she didn’t hear me answer immediately - that’s my only complaint. Other than than, my stay was lovely and I would definitely return!"
