“Can be worth the stay - if you get the right room.”

One thing I have to note is do not get a room facing the street. I have stayed in as well as worked at many hotels in my life, but have never experienced such a loud atmosphere. If you go to bed early and rise early it will be fine. However, sleeping in will be a very rough experience. Our room faced a street used by local buses and the noise woke us up/prevented us from sleeping the entire time. It was literally louder than our alarms. Even with the windows and doors closed it didn't help. On the last night I crashed in my friend's room across the hall (which didn't face the street) and slept fine. The staff was hit and miss. The main front desk agent was very nice and quite helpful, as well as the cleaning staff. But another guy didn't really seem to enjoy his time there. Two things we did like about the hotel were the roof terraces and the great location. The hotel is a really easy 6-7 minute walk to the Malecon, a few blocks from the beach, and near the best taco stand (Mendoza) we ate at during our trip - and we ate at dozens of them. The area is safe, the locals are very friendly, and it doesn't have as high a concentration of tourists. Bottom line: great price if you get a room that doesn't face the street and close to everything.

We only stayed one night but this hotel has a great location in Viejo Vallarta and walking distance from great food and the malecón!

“Clean Convenient Budget Hotel”

Right in the midst of everything...which is a drawback if your a light sleeper and many bars and nightclubs are very close so it can be noisy till the wee hours of the morning Many great restaurants right in the area and everything is easy walking distance

“Noisey and not that clean.”

Very noisey location. On a main intersection that has constant noise, especially in the morning when all the buses and taxi's begin their work day. Not much sleeping in. Also the floors just felt dirty all the time.

Très très bonne ouverture sur la rue sachant qu'on peut passer sa main entre les battants de la fenêtre. Ne comptez pas vous reposez lors de votre séjour dans cette hacienda, le bruit fait parti du quotidien. Plutot sale, poussière partout, idéal pour avoir les pieds noirs. Salle de bain ouverte a tout, allez aux toilettes et vous aurez un parfum d'ambiance dans tout l'appartement. N'espérez pas brancher le frigo, ni atteindre la chasse d'eau des cabinets, elle est cachée. D'ailleurs asseyez vous de préférence face à la porte car sinon vous aurez les genoux dans la douche. Serviettes de douche résistantes, adéquates pour la plage, climatisation fonctionnelle voire trop. Il n'y a pas de piscine, c'est une pataugeoire, ne comptez pas vous y baigner la nuit parce qu'ils mettent du chlore et autre chose inconnue. N'emmenez pas papi ni votre cousin handicapé, il n'y a pas d’ascenseur et 3 étages.

The noise is unbearable. Was not able to sleep for days. I thought i was in an prison cell. do not let anyone stay at this hotel.
