"Great hotel in a great location!"
From start to finish, we had an excellent stay. Breakfast, waitstaff, front desk staff, and concierge were all very helpful and attentive. The two issues we had were the hair drier in our room was not working properly, and it took them a while to come and get it fixed; and, the lack of enough US plug adapters (when ours had stopped working, they didn't have any for us to use). However, they did provide us with phone chargers, which at least took care of the phones. The location was ideal! Just a short walk from Old Town Square, steps from the metro, around the corner from the Powder Gate, and across the street from the Paladium (a 5-story mall). There is also a small square, just out the door, that had a little market with food and crafts. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Prague and would recommend to others!

"Great option for staying outside the inner city"
This hotel is in excellent condition. Its comfortable, quiet and outside the hustle and bustle of inner Prague. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only bad thing about the room was the shower was a little on the small side. A small inconvenience given the price of the hotel. The breakfast was really good and hearty. Scrambled eggs and the standard european fare - breads, cold cuts, cheeses, cereal, yogurt, fruits, etc. The restaurant was nice as well. Warning - there is a nice walk to the metro station. Its not that bad, really. But for people that aren't prepared for a nice walk, be forewarned. I'd say its a 15-20 minute walk uphill going to the station. You can catch a bus a little closer but that's still a decent walk. The hotel receptionist(s) all spoke good English and were friendly. The only person that wasn't very friendly was the lady that kept the breakfast area stocked. If you've never been to Prague, please be sure to keep plenty of pocket change for the toilets and the metro. For some reason, the Metro only accepts coins. You can get a 24 hour ticket for about 110 kr. Also, if you drive or have a rental car, parking is plentiful and free at the hotel!

"Boutique hotel!"
Loved this place. Not a large hotel or chain, which I avoid at all costs. Tucked by Prague Castle, not a "main" location, which was fine with me. Quiet and peaceful in a busy city. I enjoy fresh air and could open my window without worry and without a lot of street noise!

"DUO Hotel in Prague, unbeatable !!"
The proximity to the underground service is one of the best things about this hotel. It is about 150 meters from the entry to the underground. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have tasted. The staff could speak English and were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

"Great location to stay in Prague"
The Emblem Hotel is a contemporary hotel that has features that sets it apart from the other European hotels I have stayed at. It starts with their approach to welcoming guests. Instead of a reception desk, you are invited into a cozy area to check in. The room amenities were tasteful and contemporary. The buffet breakfast was well organized and delicious. I enjoyed how the staff was more than willing to assist guests with their questions. There recommendations for dinner were great. Finally, this was my 7th hotel on my European vacation and The Emblem was by far the best facility located near the center of the city. It may visiting the local sites in Prague a pleasure after a long journey across Europe. I highly recommend this The Emblem to individuals from the U.S. going to Prague for the first time.
