"This place is a little gem. It belongs to the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the rooms they rent, in a smaller building behind the main building pictured, are simple but comfortable and spotlessly clean. And your breakfast is in the beautiful cafe (with chandelier) in the main building!"

"The person who greeted us allowed us to drop our bags prior to check-in, which allowed us to explore the area and get acclimated to our surroundings. The kitchen had a microwave sink, and a hot pot. Having access to a stove would’ve been helpful. The shared toilet and shower rooms were clean.Staff was friendly and kind. The room was clean and offered drawers and hanging options for clothing. Restored and decorated sympathetically the house is perfect for an immersive stay. Comfortable and clean. Tasty breakfast. "

"We had a very comfortable stay. Thus is a traditional guesthouse with a good breakfast. The rooms are large and comfortable and the location is superb, just a few hundred yards from The Charles Bridge and virtually next to Kampa Park, yet it's quiet and peaceful. We were able to get a late check in and the staff were very friendly."

"The hotel is very clean - they even put 3 soap dispensors next to the sink as if to emphasize this. There is also a convenient Albert hypermarket on the other side of the river. I checked in and out by myself (there is no door man) but it was convenient."
