Facing the mountains, the Ace Hotel's swim club features a year-round outdoor pool, spa tub, a sundeck with hammocks, and massage yurts. There's even a stargazing platform. Poolside activities include DJ entertainment, bands, yoga classes, and impromptu dance parties. A second outdoor pool is open to guests except during private events.
The fitness center, open to guests 24 hours a day, is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment. A sauna, steam room, and lockers are provided. The Feel Good Spa at Ace Hotel offers massage, body treatments, and facials utilizing organic products.
The King's Highway restaurant serves roadside-diner fare, updated with local, seasonal, and organic ingredients. The Amigo Room bar serves classic and creative artisanal cocktails using fresh juices and house-made mixers. Drinks are available poolside.

Ace Hotel's air-conditioned guestrooms surround the swim-club area. All 180 rooms feature 32-42 inch flat-panel TVs, MP3 plug-ins, and views of the pool, mountains, or Palm Springs. Wireless Internet access is complimentary. Minibars are stocked with unique products. Much of the furniture is vintage.
Bathrooms include showers and amenities from Rudy’s Barbershop. Some guestrooms open to private patios; dogs are permitted in these rooms. All guestrooms are smoke-free.

“Hip without the pretention”
Great pool scene and delicious cocktails. Many common areas that include fireplaces, hammocks, a star gazing deck, and a dog park.
“Ace Hotel”
This hotel has everything except stuffiness. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms and ambience of the whole place is fantastic. A real getaway or social scene, you decide. We loved the free bikes, the diner food and the music and pool. Late on a Sunday night tho the place could have used a bit of a pick up, restocking of towels, etc.
“Adult Summer Camp”
Not a Hotel for everyone and that's the best part. It's punky, artsy, hippy, and a little bit summer camp. Poolside there's always a great DJ on the weekends, plenty of sun, a BBQ going, and strong drinks. Nightime it's people gathered around little fires, drinking, jacuzzi time and late night dining at King's Highway.

My husband and I are 50 years old and were introduced to the Ace by our 25 year old daughter. We've been there four times and thoroughly enjoy it every time. The food is excellent and the pool area is very fun. Lots of good tattoo and people watching although service around the pool is slow. We find it worth the wait and the people are really nice, just busy. If you want a good lounge chair at the pool get there early in the day as it gets really busy. It's very dog friendly which I like. We just got back yesterday and I can't wait to go back.

This is my third year in a row staying at Ace, and I figure I'll just keep coming back indefinitely, because I always have a fantastic time every time. I love this hotel. I fell in love with the whole package during my first stay in '09, and it's still as impressive today. The rooms are great... I've stayed in many hotel rooms but the Ace Hotel rooms just have a better vibe. I love the fact that when you walk out of your room, you're walking outdoors rather into a hallway. In fact, the whole layout of the place is cool, casual and feels like home. The restaurant, King's Highway, is a delight, I love the food. I'm already looking forward to going back next year.

“Perfect getaway from the city”
I've been to Ace Hotel once before, and both my boyfriend and I had a great experience we had to come back and invite our friends to join in on the fun! Ace Hotel is a great retreat from the city. The hotel grounds emits a retro, hip, chill, relaxing atmosphere. We didn't leave the hotel at all. The hotel's restaurant King's Highway served delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. My favorites, Chorizo Chilaquiles, and poblano cheese grits for breakfast and wild mushrooms and polenta for dinner! The pool is just the right size with lounge chairs, poolside cushions and misted hammock areas. Simple, yet trendy leaving you cool and relaxed. Service is a little slow with the poolside menu but the food is worth the wait. The drinks are well made. Room service has always been prompt. Rooms are hip, comfortable and functional. Definitely recommend to the singles and couples that want a relaxing getaway without the crazy partying hype.
“It was a surprising treat!”
Don't let the plain, somewhat outdated exterior throw you off! This newly renovated hotel has very spacious minimalist style rooms with all of the comforts, including great mattresses, plush robes and some rooms even have patios. The spa treatments were delightful. The pool/cabana/bar was fun and lively with a little music on the weekend for the under 40 crowd, but nothing that interfered with a peaceful night's rest. The restaurant served a great breakfast and the front desk was very helpful and friendly, providing discount golf coupons for us and maps to places we wanted to see. We would definitely return.

This hotel was fun and quirky. Staff was friendly. Sitting around the pool were not only clientele, but their dogs also! The beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel's attention to detail was great. Will be back soon!
