“We will definitely be back!”

We had a great stay! We were there for two nights for our anniversary and it was 95 degrees in May. It was great lounging by the pool. We ate at the Yardhouse at The River. They have a nice outdoor patio/bar. The one bdrm. condo had a jacuzzi tub, big patio, comfy bed, and a sunkent living room. It was perfect. We will definitely be back! The only bad thing was the toilet didn't flush very well :(

“Can't wait to go back!”

My husband and I, and boys ages 6 and 3, AND my in-laws had a really nice 3 day stay. my family stayed in a one bedroom suite with king-bed and hid-a-bed in living room and complete kitchen with clothes washer and dryer. My in-laws stayed in a suite beside us,though connected by common hallway (2 dbl beds, micro, fridge toaster. So clean, well maintained and there was even laundry soap provided for the washing machine (that came in handy). Loved the pool(s) and hot-tubs. Beautifully maintained grounds, 15 mins to downtown palm springs and airport. Beautiful view of snow-capped mountains.

“Pretty room, good price”

We stayed at this hotel while attending the Stagecoach Music Festival. It worked well for our needs. It had a microwave and fridge which we used to save money on breakfast. I read negative reviews on another site after booking the room so I was nervous about the quality of the room I'd reserved. But the room was clean, comfortable and had a view of the golf course from the patio where we had breakfast. We did have a plumbing problem that was quickly resolved. Overall, I'd stay there again and would recommend it to others.

“Great Stay”

“Another Great Marriott”

As always Mariott does a great job. I love their vacation villas and used to own one. Room was nice but a tad outdated. Overall I would recommend it for the price and location.

“Unfriendly”

Staffs are not friendly. The villas are ok. Golf course staffs are also unfriendly. We did not feel very welcome there.

“Check Out - A New Revenue Stream”

Having stayed at Desert Springs on numerous occasions over many years, I was disappointed to have discovered the new rigid and expensive check out policies of the property! Checkout is early - 10:00am - with a half an hour "grace period" - after which the management soaks you with HUGE fees for very short extensions. We stayed in low season, the property was clearly not fully booked, but we had to scramble to vacate lest we get hammered with these extension fees. Neither hospitable nor smart - we won't be back.
