The luxury mansion, newly renovated in September 2011, sits on historic Esplanade Avenue in New Orleans just one block from the world famous French Quarter! The Melrose Mansion features 21 beautifully furnished suites with all modern amenities including 350 thread-count linens with down comforters, large LCD flat-screen television, iPod docking station, luxury bath amenities, all-marble bathrooms with standing shower or hot tub/shower combination, ebony stained original hardwood floors, original artwork, and high speed wireless Internet. The Melrose Mansion also features one of the largest swimming pools in the French Quarter, complete with fountains, which sits perfectly in the courtyard area of the mansion surrounded by lush trees and landscape. The Melrose Mansion provides a complimentary light continental breakfast every morning during your stay with us, along with local French Market Coffee, which can be enjoyed poolside, in our breakfast room in front of our 70-inch flat-screen television, or in the privacy of your suite. A complimentary wine and cheese reception is also served nightly to all guests. Complimentary wireless Internet access is offered throughout the hotel.
