Property Amenities
Located in the Central Business District, the Hilton New Orleans Riverside boasts several business-friendly amenities, such as 130,000 square feet of banquet and conference space. The business center provides copying, faxing, and express mail services. Wireless Internet access is available.
The Hilton complex also appeals to leisure travelers with its proximity to major tourist attractions, such as the French Quarter and Harrah's Casino; both venues are one-quarter mile away. The Hilton New Orleans Riverside offers guestrooms in two buildings, a 29-story tower and a four-story Riverside annex linked by interior corridors.
Pillowtop mattresses are dressed with 250-thread-count all-white linens, down duvets, and six pillows. Rooms offer floor-to-ceiling windows, large desks, and ergonomic chairs.
Amenities include 37-inch LCD TVs and MP3 docking stations. Cuisinart coffeemakers feature Lavazza coffee. Bathrooms include La Source bath products, granite countertops, and double shower curtains on curved rods.
Executive-level rooms feature check-in on the 29th floor, private concierge service, and access to a lounge with complimentary Continental breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres.

The health club (surcharge) features a fitness center equipped with numerous cardio and strength-training machines. Other health club amenities include squash and racquetball courts, basketball and tennis courts, a sauna, steam room, and tanning bed. There's an aerobic dance studio, and yoga and Pilates classes are offered along with personal training sessions. The Hilton is located across the street from Harrah's Casino and one block from Woldenburg Riverfront Park, which has a paved pathway suitable for strolling and running. “A Great Christmas”
We arrived early and although we had requested double beds witha river view, the only rooms with a river view that were available at the time had king sized beds which we agreed to and were booked in quite quickly. Occasionaly small items, ie: soap or shampoo or coffee were not replenished. We travel often and usually carry those items with us, so it was not an inconvenience just a minor annoyance which we have experienced at all hotels and resorts regardless of their star rating. The view from the 18th floor was spectacular, and the connection to the streetcar was just outside the main entrance. We ate breakfast in the hotel a few times and were impressed by the variety, quality and level of service from all the staff. The concierge desk was tremendously helpful and should be applauded for handling the range of questions put to them. We stayed at the hotel from Dec 17 to the 24th and the only thing that did not co-operate completely was the weather which had high temps which ranging from the low 50's to the low 70's. Christmas is a great time to visit New Orleans and the Hilton Riverside is conveniently located to just about everything. All in all it was a great re-visit to the Crescent city, new hotel experience and a great way to end 2010.

The staff was polite. The room was ready upon arrival and just as expected. Very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again. Hotel is conveniently located a within walking distance to some of the most frequented attractions.

The Hilton New Orleans Riverside was wonderful. Everything you would expect from a first class hotel. We'll do it again. The Hilton was like brand new. Everyone was very courteous. A very happy atmosphere.

Our one-night stay (to coincide with a relative graduating from Tulane) was outstanding! Great service, great people, and wonderful meals available in the hotel made this trip wonderful.
“Lovely service”
We recently stayed at this hotel while in New Orleans for my father-in-law's funeral. The hotel is undergoing renovations; however, there was no impact from that on our stay. My daughter left her blanky when we checked out; a member of the staff found it within minutes of our call and it arrived at our home the day after we did. Prom was happening when we were there too, and I was worried that there would be a lot of noise in the hallways. I shouldn't have been concerned, the rooms are very quiet. The pool is also very nice. I highly recommend this hotel.
