"As a returning guest I was again not disappointed by this fabulous set up on the river. Everything we needed, great space to spend with the whole family, from the 1 yo to the 60 yo. The high chair and kids toys, games, colouring and cutlery make such a difference. The pizza oven a hit. Glorious views from the kitchen and balcony. A great base for us visiting Monarto and paddle steamer cruise. Will definitely come again."

"We stayed for an event at The Bend. Only a 5 kms away so very convenient. Minor communication issue on how to collect the key for access, was a recent change so shouldn't affect you. Property may have missed a cleaning cycle prior to our stay."

The house was beautiful & very clean, and Janine & Matt had really thought of everything - candles when we walked in, a generously stocked pantry & fridge, super soft towels and so many other little things that made the stay extra luxurious 😊 The area is beautiful too, although we loved the house so much that we didn't really leave to explore! "Very nice place to stay. The boat was very well equipped with everything we needed. All of us caught lots of carp that we had to kill first of course, then fed to a pelican which was fun. Fed the pair of black swans that came round each evening with cornflakes as internet said that was OK. to feed them that. Very quiet moored spot on the river. Highly recommend this boat for a holiday that is so relaxing. Host is lovely and supplies all the information you need for this wonderful getaway."
