'Serenity' has all the modern comforts, and is beautifully fitted out. This large home can sleep up to 11 people, and offers multiple entertaining areas. Bring the boat or kayaks, and take advantage of the private community reserve by the river. For large groups, 'Serenity' is also available with it's sister house, 'Esprit', located across the street. The Space: The star of 'Serenity' is the stunning, all-weather outdoor entertaining space, with sweeping views of the Murray River corridor and beyond to Mt Barker. You won't want to move from this spot, and probably don't need to - from here you can see the kids paddling in their kayaks in the lagoon below. 'Serenity' offers modern, spacious accommodation for large family groups. The home has plenty of room for the whole family, sleeping up to 11 people, with four bedrooms, two living areas (with sofa bed in the second lounge), spacious outdoor entertaining, and access to the private community river reserve where you can kayak, picnic, or launch your boat. The property is fully fenced on the river side, for the safety of children. Beautifully styled and fitted out, 'Serenity' exudes sophisticated relaxation. Everything you could possibly need has been provided for your comfort, so you can just arrive and relax. And if you like to holiday with friends, it's sister house, 'Esprit', is located across the street, and also sleeps up to 11 people. The Neighborhood: ‘Serenity’ is the perfect river getaway, at any time of the year. Located on a quiet part of the river, guests can enjoy the private community reserve, and river beyond, yet the convenience of all amenities is just a few minutes’ drive away in Tailem Bend or Murray Bridge. The reserve is located just below the house and never too crowded, so there is plenty of room to spread out for the day. This property enjoys easy and quick access to the South Eastern Freeway and Princes Highway. Local attractions include The Bend Motorsport Park (approximately 15 minutes), and the iconic Monarto Zoo (25 minutes). Nearby wine regions include Langhorne Creek (40 minutes), the Adelaide Hills (40 minutes) and the Barossa (1 hour). If you love to explore in your car, the stunning Coorong is just half an hour from Tailem Bend. Check out the beaches, lagoons, river and lakes in the truly magical Storm Boy country. And, one of our favourite things to do if you bring your boat is to motor down the river to have lunch at one of the authentic pubs on the water front. We suggest the Riverside at Tailem Bend (only 5 minutes in the boat), the historic Wellington Pub, or the Riverscape cafe/restaurant at Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge. It was a quiet oasis of comfort, and included all the modern facilities you could want. A tastefully decorated and well appointed home, it offered plenty of space for our group of seven. The view from the back verandah was magical, as it offered sweeping views of the Murray River and vast fields beyond, adding a tranquil feel to our stay. Access to the river and boat ramp is available to guests and is a short walk on a bitumen roadway down the hill. Located just off of the highway, Serenity was a perfect place to stay. Tailem Bend Dragway was minutes away, as was the Main Street of town offering all a traveller would need.
