“EXCITED TO GO BACK AGAIN!!!”
THE ROOM IS EXACTLY AS IT LOOK ON THEIR OFFICIAL WEBSITE.
“Loft hôtel bien situe dans le quartier latin”
Dans un quartier vivant , proche de nombreux restaurants, a 2 minutes du métro. Loft immense (10 m de long) .
“Spacious, apartment-like accommodations”
Unusually spacious accommodations, and more like renting an upscale apartment in Montreal, with enough space to return from city wanderings and relax with a glass of wine on the comfy couches and enjoy being there - so unlike most hotel rooms. With a full kitchen, we also saved money on food, and the breakfast provided in the lobby also helped in that regard. The location is excellent and we walked to the "Fire on Ice" fireworks show in Old Town our first evening, walked to the Museum of Fine Arts the second afternoon, and spend the third day wandering all of the French Quarter, and only on the fourth did we venture further by car, after checking out. The subway stop is also very convenient and we took it to Jean Talon Market and walked a good part of the way back. Highly recommended! The staff were helpful and friendly and always readily available.
“The place to be in Montreal!!”
“Was happily surprised.”
My wife and I stayed at the Loft for 2 nights for our anniversary. I wasn't sure what to expect booking the room online, you just never know, but it was more then what we expected. The room was huge, (loft style apartment). The shower was big as well, and very clean all around. Kitchen if you need it. The wi-fi is there but didn't work well our entire stay, but it wasn't a business trip so we didn't care as much. The continental breakfast was great and had everything you needed, and was nice because it saves about $20 a day on food. Coffee was excellent. There is a parking garage on site and it was very convenient and close to the room. Staff was very welcoming-we came in at 2 in the morning and they were hospitable. Location is nice, right on St-Denis which is a college area hustling with people, but it was close to the metro station and had lots of great restaurants within a 3 minute walk. Not noisy at all. The only complaint is there is no view in the room we were and it just looked out to another building. Overall we enjoyed it very much and may come back if we come back to Montreal.
“Still very new”
The Loft Hotel is in a very good location. Our room was huge and comfortable. The staff members were helpful, especially Nadine. Taxis had a hard time finding the hotel because the street where it's located (Terrasse St Denis) is so small and not recognizable. It would be easier to give the address where that terrasse intersects the main street (Rue St Denis) and that would have eliminated hassle for us and others we witnessed having the same trouble. The weekend we were there the hotel was having a wedding in the big function room and it was fun to see the flurry of contractor activity getting it all ready for the big event. We walked all around the beautiful city and used the Bixi (bikes for rent) to get exercise while seeing the parks. There are great bike paths!
“Funky - Fun - Montreal location for party Weekend”
Loved everything about the Loft Hotel except for the lack of any water pressure in the shower - it was really bad - that would be the only thing that really stands out negatively for me and my stay. Great place to pre-game with friends before going out for the evening...
“Disapointing”
Incredible room and location, we rent rooms in Montreal every month, this is the worst hotel staff in the city, rude, poor service, Air conditioner and shower not working, staff not helpfull at all, won't go back
