“A lovely spot in Old Montreal”
Le Petit Hotel was a charming boutique with 24 rooms, a delicious continental breakfast, a perfect location and conveniently located close to a gym at the sister hotel nearby. The staff was, friendly, helpful and professional. Parking was made easy with the in and out valet parking which was done efficiently. I would certainly return and recommend it to others.
“Very nice.”
Very nice small hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Complementary breakfast was very good and even included cappuccino and latte. Location was excellent. Everything we could wish for. Valet Parking is expensive so beware.
“Love this hotel”
This was our first stay in a boutique hotel and we were very impressed. The level of service was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful in directing us around the city as well as selecting wonderful restaurants. Our room was spacious enough for the two of us and very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Chic place to stay”
In the old town close to the harbour this is a great hotel with lots of style. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is more than just a croissant with different breads, fruits and yoghurt and very good. The only downside, and it might just have been our room (top floor), was the noise of an air conditioning unit on the roof, but the bed was so comfortable and we'd exhausted ourselves walking up Mount Royal that we didn't really notice, but more sensitive sleepers might.
“A very friendly, hip, and homey place in a lovely neighborhood”
Le Petit Hotel is gorgeous - beautiful art - and intimate. Breakfast was delicious and included an espresso drink. The room was gorgeous too, but the best thing of all was the service. There were 4-5 different young people working the front desk while we were there, and they were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable about restaurants, culture, and nightlife, not only in the neighborhood but in the city at large. It was like having 4 cool friends in Montreal, at your service at all times.
“Excellent Stay”
The hotel lived up to our expectations and more. The staff was (very) friendly and accommodating. It felt good to get to our hotel as we could rely on friendly service, cool temperature (mid-July), and excellent breakfast. The complimentary breakfast: The coffee and optional juice/special coffee were very good. The fresh baked goods, bread, jams/honey were awesome. The fresh fruit was also very good. The room: Medium/small but we did not feel cramped. The shower/bathroom was elegant/sophisticated. There was always light "mood" music playing when we walked into our room. The staff: Very friendly; in English or French. They answered all our questions and were more than accommodating when we asked for suggestions. I saw them going beyond the call of duty with other patrons as well. The location: In the middle of Rue St. Paul -- the oldest street in Old Montreal. Its close to the river, Notre Dame and Place D'Armes metro station. Its not too far from downtown or the Latin Quarter. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and clubs.
“Great trip”
What a cool little hotel. Great location, fun decor and excellent service. Included continental breakfast was perfect. Staff were always friendly and were especially helpful with restaurant suggestions/reservations. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend Le Petit Hotel to friends who are looking for a boutique hotel in Montreal's Old Port area. Only downer for me was a too-soft bed, but I think that's just personal preference.
“Lovely”
Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room (exactly as in photographs). Lovely location.
“Great Stay”
We had a great stay for 4 days at Le Petit Hotel. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We will go back next time we're in Montreal. The beds are very comfortable and the ambiance is very welcoming. If you stay here I highly recommend trying to Cafe Veritas which is 5 minutes walk away.
“Petite but not in service and quality”
My hubs and I enjoyed our stay here immensely with the helpful and courteous staff. Our room was super clean and comfortable. Plus who can say no to yummy chocolate croissants! We would definitely come back if we were visiting Montreal again.
