“Convenient Hotel - Great Staff”
We just needed somewhere to sleep while visiting Old Montreal for a couple days with another couple and this Hotel worked quite well. It was the perfect location for touring the area on foot. It was also near St. Catherine's with tons of restaurants. The staff was wonderful - especially great with helping us find the various places we wanted to visit. Their English was quite good - much better than our French!!. Breakfast was good enough to get us going. They kept the area very clean and well stocked. Our room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. Loved having the fridge in the room too. It's located on a main street but having a GPS really helped to find it. The only negative was that the affiliated parking garage ($17/day) was very scary because of the turns going into it but we made it in and out with no damage to the car - fortunately - but it's way too close, even for a medium size car. I would suggest finding another place to park your car.
“Great bargain hotel”
This hotel is perfect for budget travelers. No frills, but a clean, nice sized room that was comfortable and in a perfect location. On the UQAM campus, a block away from the metro station and right in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Walking distance to all of the bars/restaurants on St. Denis, Saint Laurent, and St. Catherine. Average continental breakfast (with terrible coffee) included. Parking is available for an extra $15 a night, but in an impossibly small underground parking garage three levels down: not for the faint of heart.
“A good family hotel close to old Montreal”
I reserved a suite (2 rooms w/queen size beds and a sleeper sofa. They had us in the basement with tiny windows way up looking out on the sidewalk. I immediately went to the reception and asked for a better location but same room. They had another one available on ground floor. Much nicer, same kind of layout. For the price I paid per night with continental breakfast included, that was a great deal for a good location, not far from "vieux Montreal". 3 blocks away from the oldest and only nice part of town. Breakfast was very decent and they kept bringing more food even 20 minutes before the end of breakfast time. Our room also had a fridge, sink, cook top, microwave. We didn't use it much but it could be nice with younger kids. Overall, I was satisfied but this isn't a luxury hotel by any means. It worked very well for us.
“very convenient placew to stay in”
place easy to get to, close to Metro, and many more interesting places,BixieBike stations nearby, walking distance to the Old Town, staff friendly, informed well, helpfull, continental breakfast well served,
“Definitely recommended!”
Very nice small hotel, clean, good continental breakfast, not too expensive. The reception staff was extremely friendly although we arrived after midnight. Close to downtown and restaurants. I would definitely recommended.
“Would stay here again”
The hotel was conveniently located near Old Montreal. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted go. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The interior of the hotel could use a little work, but overall we were happy with the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable.
“Bob”
good central location but that is it:( rooms are very small, need to move bed to close the door. have to wash dishes after you, otherwise 25$ charge. Parking is terrible: have to be a professional driver and have a small car to get in. Had a toilet problem, called front desk, nothing happened for 2 days. Breakfast is minimalistic. AC in one room only. Room wasn't cleaned until special request, had to ask for towels, dishwasher liquid etc.
“Not worth it!!!!!”
Not worth the money, bed is too soft not good esp if you have back pains. Basement parking not recommended esp for new drivers, also not in the same building, i was not able to access the car because it's inconvinient and not comfortable with safety of sorroundings.
“economical and comfy in Montreal”
Was very impressed with the room, great value for money. Staff were friendly. Great location, one block from St. Catherines, and only a few blocks from Old Montreal.
“Great”
Great. Staff were very friendly! If the breakfast had some more variation it would be better, but overall everything was great!
