"Book this so we would not be in Manhattan when we needed to make it to the airport the next day. We booked a corner suite with the Manhattan view and it was incredible. Staff was very friendly the restaurants good and the drinks were great. Unfortunately the bed was not very comfortable and it was very creaky. With all the windows there was not much noise insulation and we could hear everything going on down on the street at a very early hour."

"Worse location surrounded by collision centers, body shops and warehouses. Broken cars parked all around. We were scared of walking outside. Building is old and not maintained. Not worth money. Its a 2 star hotel not worth more than $50 a night. Can I expect a refund ?"
"The hotel was right by the subway entrance. If you plan on going to Manhattan for the majority of your trips, it's only 20 minutes subway and a 2-5 min walk to the nearest entrance.
Room was spacious, but kind of ?? that you could tell the ceiling was sloppily fixed from leakage. Also kind of annoying that they start you off with only two towels and a like 2 bottles of shampoo/etc despite our room having a queen king bed which obviously meant there were at least 4 people staying.... staff...
"Location was great, hotel has it charms. Unfortunately they have some issues. Beds very poor conditions, sunk in areas, they most be very old or cheap. Toilet leaks, Shower completely clogged we had to request plunger so that my husband can try to fix it. shower curtains smell bad. and had securities issues local man gather in front entrance talking load and staying long hours there, didn't like that at all."

5/5 Excellent
"VERY professional staff!! Received a surprise with courtesy perks that were provided (i.e. food per diem and liberty boat cruise)! My guest and I felt like we were at home everyday we came in for the evening while staying in Times Square = the Mecca of New York!! Highly recommended and hope to stay there again !! (One minor gripe = would have been nice to have a mini-fridge available in our room). Thank you !! Damon."

"This is probably the second hotel review I’ve ever written, but my recent stay at the New Yorker absolutely warrants it. Two things, in particular, stood out.
First, the amazing staff. Besides the hotel’s prime location, the staff make you feel truly welcome. For example, the doorman remembered the name of my service dog. They consistently go out of their way to provide exceptional service with a personal touch.
Second, the upgrades. Unlike other hotels that claim to upgrade my room but make no noticeable changes, the New Yorker genuinely impressed me. Without any request, they upgraded my room significantly due to my extended stay. The upgraded unit had three rooms, a terrace, a walk-in closet, two bathrooms, and a stunning view of Midtown. They got it right, and I’ll be booking with them more often."
