"Our stay to view the totality of the eclipse on 4/8/24 was outstanding. The clouds cooperated and the view from the deck was perfect to watch the moon's slow march across the face of the sun - and then to be plunged into darkness surrounded by the trees and mountains was otherworldly. The house was neat, clean, and had everything we wanted or needed. Marty and Melissa were the perfect hosts with super easy and fast communication. "We just loved this cabin! Very clean and lovely, everything you'd need is available. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee on the porch overlooking the lake. Stargazing from the dock was amazing and the firepit is so close and handy from the cabin. Having kayaks at our disposal was a wonderful perk as well. I must say, my new favorite bird call is the loon. We heard them every night and morning, they sound forlorn yet beautiful. A pair of them seemed to follow us around in our kayaks....

The picture window overlooking the lake is a glorious way to start a morning, and the deck and fire pit are wonderful ways to take in the lake in a quiet setting. We also enjoyed the beach a short walk away. The location is great- a mile or so outside of town and close to hiking trails. The kitchen was clean and fully outfitted to cook, and we took advantage of that a lot. We’d happily stay again."

"This cabin is very cute and was very clean. Almost everything we needed was provided at the home and we appreciated so much wood for the firepit, which we used constantly due to how cold it was. Had to pick up charcoal, but it was an easy 15 minute drive to town for this. Sadly, the staircase to the lake is not described well enough. It seemed to be one long stair case down, when actually, its 3 very long staircases and crossing a small street. Its not an easy or short distance. The area is...

Close enough to shops and attractions - you get a nice balance of solitude and things to do. Easy check in/out process. Will come back!"

"This place was the most peaceful and tranquil place we have ever stayed in our life. We were worry free and relaxed our whole stay. The place was clean, warm, and extremely comfortable. The nature surrounding it was perfection, from the many animals and unique birds you hear, the creek right along side the place, surrounding pines, the wooden swing, camp fire, chairs, front porch, and relaxing back porch facing the woods, to the interior decor. It was absolutely perfect and we can't wait to stay...
