"We love staying at Carter Creek Resort. This was our 4th visit. We are disappointed in the menu change at the restaurant. The menu and food was always so good. The limited menu leaves few choices and the burger we purchased was over cooked and the bun burned. 😞. It would be great to have a cart station where they are more accessible to some of the villas that are not close to the office. It was difficult to control our AC in 1403. "We stayed in March or 2024. The cabin was nice but the lake was very dry. No way to do any fishing or water related. I just wish they would have told us before the trip that the lake around them was bone dry and not at all what the pictures show. The staff was very friendly and we still had a great time. The tram ride is pretty cool. Rooms are what you would expect for a cabin made to house mountain bikers and off roaders. "

"This is a great tiny house to stay in. First off there’s not too many tiny houses that offer a king size bed that is not up in a loft area. With the king size bed in the room it is a little tight walking around, but you’re hardly ever in the room anyway. The kitchen is very functional if you need to cook or do anything like that which I do and it was great. Would sit on the outside patio do a little bit of work sitting outside and enjoying the evening. If you’re looking for a nice little weekend...

"The hotel was ok, the staff was friendly, but the town of Johnson City was not welcoming to visitors. We went to a local bar in town and they would not serve us. All of the residential streets were blocked with residents only signs. I will not be returning to Johnson City EVER. If i were you, find somewhere else to go."
