Magic Underground Hobbit Hole @ Sustainable Ecovillage
7.8 out of 10, Good, (25)
"1. This is camping in the back hills. Worth the trip. It is as advertised. bring your own blankets and food that can be warmed on a wood stove. 2. The area had a recent fire but is recovering nicely. 3. the camp itself is worth the trip 4. Communication from expedia to vrbo to Dan Sasquach was severely lacking. "

Charming riverside retreat

"We absolutely loved this darling little cabin in the woods. It was so cozy and in a wonderful, peaceful location. Close to Jedidiah Smith Redwoods and Crescent city. Not too far from Prairie Creek Redwoods either, if you like exploring the coast and various trails. We can’t wait to come back to visit."

Who says you need to rough it to explore the outdoors?
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (68)
"Our family needed a place to stay before hitting the trails of the Redwood Forest and this place was perfect! It was very dog friendly for our furry family with a wonderful fenced in backyard. I love that there were plenty of blankets around the house for anyone who got cold, and there were plenty of towels for showers in the morning, very thoughtful! We also really enjoyed the wall map and the little notes that other attendees had left about places on the map, it was a very fun touch! Also, the...

Private Off Grid cabin on North Fork of Smith River - WiFi - Pet Friendly
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (157)
"Sylvia and Larry are amazing hosts. They're super friendly and are very helpful. It was quite the drive getting here since the road wasn't great but it was definitely worth it to be in a place that is so well curated for nature lovers. There's a private pond right next to the cabin with a hammock and some chairs to chill out on. A beautiful lawn for my dog to run around freely. Overall just a serene stay. Loved it!"

Minutes from Beach and The Redwwods
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (20)
"House was clean, quiet, and as described on listing. Well stocked kitchen to be able to cook ourselves. We couldn’t get the hot water to work in master shower, and the pipes are reversed in the other bath. Beds were comfortable. Neighborhood is pretty old and run down, but the location was nice to be able to access coastal hikes, Crescent City, and many of the Redwood hikes."

Remote Off-Grid-Rustic Tree House @ Sustainable Eco-Village
7.6 out of 10, Good, (27)
"As long as you set your expectations to truly camping in a tree house you won't be let down! The directions were so helpful, we had a bit of confusion about where to park, and it is a cold water only place. But it was such a treat to camp in a tree house, to take the dirt roads and truly be off the grid, and the cold water added to the experience. We were charmed by the mosaics all over the farm, and my children still talk about the sweet dogs that stuck by our sides the whole time. We will...

Meadowview Clean & Comfortable Home by river side
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (21)
"The home itself was great, came with all basic necessities needed, comfortable space and nice yard. The one downside was the bugs - a lot of cobwebs in the house, spiders and slugs. Overall good place to stay in a quiet area that is easy to find in the heavy fog. Easy access to Redwoods either direction too. "

Wildlife Preserve, Country Cottage, Spacious
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (9)
"Great Cats World Park across the road! Oregon caves nearby. This was far more convenient than staying in Grants Pass which made the trip convenient and stress free. The home was older but comfortable. I am gluten free and need to cook for myself when traveling. Although there is not a traditional kitchen, we did well with the microwave, toaster oven with baking capability, a refrigerator and portable double burner. Patty, the hostess, was communicative, helpful, and kind."
