Jun 15, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy Adorable cabins, nice, clean and cozy. The staff at the market and restaurant were friendly and helpful. The only downfall was there wasn't any soap in the bathroom, but that was easily remedied. The location was excellent for visiting the different sites at Redwood National Park. ##### Cari L. Jul 10, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great for when you want to disconnect from the world We loved that it was out in the middle of no where but that also made it hard to find food. So, make sure you bring plenty of snacks. The place is super small - especially the shower - but very clean and the people that worked there were all very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. ##### Dawn G. Stayed 4 nights in Jul 2025 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Daniel V. Aug 25, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy Used this place for a couple nights exploring the Redwoods National and State Parks. Was great to use a base for exploring as it had a built in bathroom compared to other options with communal bathrooms. Location was easy to find right off the highway. Shower and other utilities worked great, just were a bit small but that is nitpicking. There was a weird smell when I first got there but used an air freshener and it cleared right up. Overall happy with my experience! ##### Daniel V. We explored so many awesome trails. It is remote, so if you are looking for finer food and beer, you have to be willing to drive 20 minutes north to Crescent City. This was a perfect base camp for us. ##### Mark M. Stayed 3 nights in Apr 2025 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Sarah S. We explored the redwoods and it was so nice to come back to the cabins and have food cooked to order right there at the little grocery/restaurant on site (and the food was delicious!) The owners are very knowledgeable about the area and were extremely welcoming of us. Great location, great price, and easy to get to. A base for hiking and touring the beautiful redwood forests and beaches. The property manager was incredible with advising on what to do in the area (relayed via the app) and it was obvious that she loved the area. The location was on the highway and cabins need upgrading. ##### Martin Stayed 3 nights in May 2023 ### 8/10 Good #### tracy c. Aug 2, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication Disliked: Location #### road trip 2023 What a cute little cottage! This little place could not have been cleaner. The hamburgers at the little store/restaurant where you check in were so, so yummy! Close to numerous hikes. My only dislike was how close to the highway it was. This was hard to pick up in the VRBO listing. ##### tracy c. Stayed 2 nights in Jul 2023 ### 8/10 Good #### Susan May 1, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness The cabin was nice and clean. There was little services, a restaurant in the store on property. The store had limited inventory. There was nowhere to walk by the property. None the less it was comfortable. ##### Susan Stayed 2 nights in Apr 2024 ### 6/10 Okay #### Mark L. Oct 1, 2024 Liked: Check-in, communication, location Disliked: Cleanliness #### Good folk Cute cottages, real good info from manager on things to do. We skipped restaurants in town because it said there was an Italian restaurant property. We’re at first disappointed because it was actually a grocery store with a kitchen in back and table separated by a wall once we got over ourselves, the food was very good and the staff very friendly. The cottage has a strong mildew odor to it when we walked in the door and there was a black mold in the closet area on the wall. Everything was pretty wore out as far as infrastructure didn’t take showers paid for two nights , and left after one. The bed covers up the only outlet on that wall and Space between mattress and the wall threatening to be mildewy not clean. If a remodel is in the works, it’ll be acute roadside when it’s completed ##### Mark L. Stayed 2 nights in Sep 2024 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Bonnie S.
