“Good Hotel”
Hotel was clean. Bed was comfortable. My room was on the back side of the hotel so facing the train tracks. Some trains passed by but I the noise did not bother me. Overall good value for the money.
“AWESOME HOTEL”
My husband and I travelled through Edmonton just after Christmas 08. Thanks to Expedia we got a great deal on this hotel. When we arrived with our TWO Rotties in tow, they welcomed us with gracious excitement. This hotel is beautiful and the rooms are amazing. Our bed boasted a duvet cover and was quite high off the ground that you would just fall into bed a sleep like a baby. The pillows were the most comfortable I have ever used outside of my house. The housekeeping were very prompt and courteous although a little nervous of our dogs. We assured them they wouldn't be left alone in the room at any time. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know. I will stay here anytime I am in Edmonton. Dog friendly hotels are hard to find and when you do, you know dogs are allowed. The Greenwood Inn Edmonton, when you walk into the room, it smells fresh and clean. I still am shocked that dogs are welcome in such a beautiful place. Thank you so much!!!!! Rob and Jen
“Very comfortable!”
The location of the hotel was just what I needed at a reasonable rate. The only problem was the trains right outside. We had a back side room and the train tracks run right outside the hotel pretty much most of the night resulting in not much sleep. However, everything else was great. Love the pillows!
“Good price for a great stay”
I stay here for five days and love every moment of my stay. The room was very nice and the maid service clean my room everyday even on Chirstmas Day. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. I did not eat at the in-hotel resturant so no comment can be place. All in all I would stay here again.
“Can't wait to return”
Hotel staff except for 1 lady at front desk were extremely helpful.Pool area was clean. Rooms were very clean and maids did up rooms very efficently.Did not eat at Daltons but at ABC and food and service was good. Train noise was only annoying if you had window open otherwise you didn't hear them much.
“Everything I needed”
The hotel offered everything I needed. Comfortable bed, hairdryer, tub (not just a shower), ironing board and iron, desk, (all in the room), restaurant, complimentary apples on the front desk. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel. Shopping was nearby.

Hotel was easy to find coming from airport, close to most amenties of the city.Staff was excellent restuarant was adequate for casual dining
“Good hotel.”
Comfortable room. Good service. Hotel bar/restaurant was a good place to watch the hockey game and have some decent food. Not a great location for seeing the city, but fine for catching a cab to my destination.
“well worth special exmas rate”
We stayed here for three nights over the holiday season at a special half regular price rate and it was well worth it. The location is good for the south side of Edmonton, downtown and to the Mall via the Whitemud. There was little traffic noise from the Calgary Trail but the rail line behind the hotel would be a different matter if the trains had been running while we were there.
“That's where we'll stay”
The Greenwood Inn is now our first choice for accomodations whenever we travel to the Edmonton area. Thanks for a terrific stay!
