“So Convenient!”

“Don't Bother!”

We stayed at the hotel for the convenience of shopping at the mall. But not worth it. Two out of four elevators were broken so people were eating 20 minutes for an elevator!! Ridiculous. It was like this in the summer too...we stayed November long weekend. We waited 1.45 hrs for room service breakfast...of course arrived cold. Due to the elevators... The room was comfortable but the hotel needs a major overhaul. It is certainly NOT worth the price they charge!! They charge 5 star prices for a 2, 3(at BEST) star hotel. :(( I will never go back.

“Nice hotel”

Nice room, great to be in the mall, but we spent a lot of time waiting for the elevator to acess our room and there was always a long line up at the lobby, not too many happy faces with the long waits, otherwise a nice hotel!

“WEM weekend getaway”

The West Edmonton Mall is a good hotel to stay in if you want to be close to all the action. Price is steep compared to otehr alternatives. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The one really bad thing about this hotel is the elevators. There are 4 and brutally slow. 10 minute waits sometimes, I can't believe the ownership doesn't fix this as it leaves a lasting impression. Time is everything! Other than that, it's a nice facility and centered around everything you would want to do in West Edmonton.

“not impressed”

The hotel needs to upgrade its existing facilities doing one floor at a time the elevators need help bad on check in and check out especially the staff are very good it seems that they have gone status quo, don't do anything unless we are losing customers the mall is starting to show its age the wave pool is the draw by far if this goes down so will there buisness not much inaviation here no passion or desire by the owners there tvs suck big time it took me 45 min to get mine going, the bath rooms and all that carpet has to go they are dune. Yes it is all this and down the road they will pay for it

“West Ed stay very convenient”

We really liked the hotel. It was so convenient for shopping in the mall. It is a little pricey but all in all worth it. The only criticism I have is the elevators were really slow which was frustrating.

Area recommendations

Edmonton Valley Zoo was ok ... Fort Edmonton was quite good....not the best for kids but adults will like it.
