My boyfriend, I and 7 year old stayed for 4 days at The Dayton House over mother's day this month. Check-in was fast, easy and the room was surprisingly well kept and clean for an older building. They have updated it in many ways and it has a home-like feel in the atmostphere. The picnic areas are awesome, people are friends, views are amazing and it's convenient to everything with a short drive.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and found the room very clean comfortable and accomadating.Room had a refrigerator and Starbucks coffee.The hotel is a few blocks from the beach so a rental car would be helpful.All and all had a great stay.

We loved the convenience, rooms nice but you spend minimun time at the Days Inn. Close to everything.

Southern charm and ambiance pretty much describes the quality of this hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and anxious to accomodate your every need and request. Beautiful old building which was formerly a warehouse. The included breakfast has varied menu available. Location is optimal. It is very close to the historical district and the waterfront. Great walking area. Many, many restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend the Verdue Inn to anyone coming to Charleston.

Great vacation. On the beach. Great pool and restaurant. Free shuttle.
