The resort offers a 211-foot indoor lazy river and a children's pool which is enclosed in the winter. The resort also offers 4 spa tubs, a 200-foot outdoor lazy river, a 50-foot outdoor pool, and a water park with a water slide and silly sub.

Children's indoor and outdoor activities (supervised) are offered in the summer; surcharges for certain arts and crafts apply. A weekly pizza night is offered as well. Other amenities include coin-operated laundry machines, located in the resort's 15-story tower. Free parking available.

The Caribbean Resort & Villas offers 454 condos, suites, and guestrooms. Condos are located in the Cayman, Chelsea, and Ibis buildings. Suites are located in the Dominican building. Guestrooms and efficiencies are located in the Jamaican building, which is one block north of The Caribbean Resort on 31st Avenue.

Sea Captain's House - Freestanding restaurant occupying former beach cottage dating from the early 1930s. Wood-paneled dining room and open-air terrace. Buffet and à la carte breakfast. Lunch/dinner menu with choices such as crab soup, sea island shrimp, oyster plate, jambalaya, Lowcountry crab casserole, grilled beef tenderloin, burgers, salads, and sandwiches.

Island Grill - Open May-August for lunch and dinner of burgers, hot dogs, snack food, soft drinks.

The Caribbean Resort & Villas offers a 200-foot outdoor, oceanfront lazy river, a 50-foot pool, four spa tubs and a water park. An indoor 211-foot lazy river, one large jacuzzi, and a children's pool are heated and enclosed during the winter months.

Located 2.25 miles away, a water sports center offers rental equipment, including personal watercraft and windsurfers—parasailing flights and banana boat rides can also be booked.

Tee times can be arranged at the Myrtle Beach area's 120 golf courses; guests also have playing privileges at the famous Dunes Golf Course (private course).

Arrived Thursday afternoon. Golf desk was able to get a tee time with no problem. Was disappointed that the resort lounge wasn't open that night. However, found a local bar within walking distance that was nice, and returned there several times. Also found excellent dining within walking distance.

“missed out on our N.C. vacation so went to myrtle beach”

We had reservations at a house in salvo n.c. we could not get to for our vacation so we quickly looked for somewhere else and found The Caribbean Resort less money and got an extra day for what we would have paid at Outter Banks. We had a great room , oceanfront, no complaints. Would definitly stay there again. Sea Captains Restaurent next door was the best place to eat that we found also. Great trip.

“Fun, family hotel, great value”

Great hotel for families! Beach was a bit crowded and had scattered cigarette butts...the water was nice though. The pool area of the hotel became more crowded on Friday and Saturday, but we expected that. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other families.
