And the fact that it was an “Art” Hotel - displaying modern local artist and having tours of the art work. They even had painting classes available for guest! "We stayed in the south building and it seemed newly renovated. Love the “beach” Colors in the room along with the small kitchenette and the double bathroom sink (with one outside the toilet area). Very clean, staff were attentive, beach was terrific! Location was very good too. My only suggestion - there is a $40/day resort fee. That SHOULD include beach chairs or the use of bikes. While I appreciated the ability to park and the other small perks included in the fee - most of those are standard...
