"The hotel was very nice and clean."
Our room was very nice and clean. The only thing is there was a long line for breakfast and very little to chose from. They had a pancake maker but it was extremely slow hence the long line.

"Post wedding mini-moon"
My wife and I live in Chicago, and wanted to get away for a few days after our wedding. We're going on our real honeymoon in January when the weather here is miserable, but were looking for something here in the US that was affordable, quick, and easy. I had been to Kiawah Island when I was in high school, but didn't really get to enjoy it on my time and dollar. Since my wife is from the south, I decided to book a trip here since it was in a part of the country she loves, and offered everything I wanted in a quick getaway. The entire trip from start to finish was perfect. The flights were quick and on time (with the exception of the return flight which was cancelled due to weather), the accommodations were beautiful, clean, and QUIET! The small shopping village across the parking lot from the Andell Inn has everything you could possibly need - - shopping, bike rentals, restaurants, bars, even a pharmacy. The beach is literally 7 minutes from the hotel making it easy to hit the coast every day. If you want more of a historical experience, Charleston is just 30 minutes away. Shopping, bars, and marketplace activities are abundant. Finally, the Atlantic Room and Ryder Cup Bar at the Ocean Course at Kiawah was the last place we hit for our "fancy" night out. The view was amazing, the food was perfect, and again the service was impeccable. We will definitely come back.

"Fabulous Hotel, location, room & staff"
Located right in the heart of the action, this hotel is a Beautiful, very very very well maintained place to enjoy! I cannot say enough about the front desk, doorman, etc. Wow! They really understand customer service. Highest praise to them. The room was divine. The bed was Sooooo wonderful as was the entire room and bath. The hallway and courtyard below our room is textbook Charleston. Perfectly landscaped. They provided a lobby living room so you can come in and cool off in the summer and have a cold drink and a snack. They provided the umbrella when needed too. They are affiliated with Hanks Restaurant and it was fantastic too! Any advice they gave us was right on the money. Expensive but you really get what you pay for here. LOVED it and will stay here any time we are in town.
