“Charleston visit”
Wish we had known in advance the charge to park. If there on vacation, be sure to use the city's free shuttle bus service. It takes you most places, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, and it is free.

got my room early and was able to stay an extra hour. hotel employees were nice and helpful.

We could walk or cross the street and get a trolley to wherever we wanted to go. I can't think of a better location to be in in Charleston.
“No problem stay!”
Everyone at the hotel was very nice. We were able to check in to our room immediately when we arrived 2 hours early. Our Bellman answered all of our questions and gave us ideas on where to eat. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast each morning. Only 1 block away from the shopping district and really close to restaurants, tours, etc. We will definitely stay here when we go back!

Very comfortable, great breakfast, easy walk to dinner and cooking school on Saturday morning. Loved being right downtown in Charleston
“Great hotel”
From the moment we entered the hotel we were received very warmly. The staff were informitive, kind, helpful and professional. The breakfast was first class. We did not have one complaint about the hotel or staff. We would return again.
“Great location”
We really enjoyed our stay at this Hampton Inn. The location was ideal -- with a trolley stop across the street from the hotel. You are also across the street from the Visitor's Center and the Charleston Museum. The morning buffet was very nice with a good selection of foods. Unfortunately you do have to pay for parking, but otherwise no complaints.
“Very nice hotel for the price”
Nice, clean hotel. Convenient across from the visitor's center. A long walk to shopping, restaurants, market and historic houses. But 2 historic houses are close by the Hampton. The breakfast was excellent, and had nice seating inside and out

Hotel was located in historic area of Charleston. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.
