    "Nice place"
Hotel was nice and very clean, but is starting to show it's age. Such as no automatic doors at the main entrance and 70's style tile and vanity in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. We called the front desk for an extra blanket and it was delivered in less than 5 minutes - very impressive.

    "Albatros hotel Gander"
hotel is ok. Nothing fancy but clean. However, I actively recommend not to eat at the restaurant. The 4 of us had dinner there. The service was very slow and nobody acknowledged our presence for more than 20 min. After calling the waitress on it she was rude and told us to wait. I was getting ready to leave when she came serving us. I ordered the special (2 steaks of 8 oz) and they only served me one ! The steak and the fries had no taste but old burned oil and were overcooked. My friend's fish was full of big bones and tasteless. After enquiring to the waitress, she told us it was normal ! The other 2 meals, a a vegi and rice plate tasted like coming out of a can. The turkey sandwich was not much better.
