"Nicely restored older home. Had happy hour snacks and sherry and brownies after 7! Yummy home cooked breakfast. Staff was very helpful with dining suggestions and area info. Would stay again."

"The hotel was quiet and peaceful with plenty of deck seating available. The grounds were well maintained and provided plenty walking and bike riding paths. We were only able to visit one cottage. It would have been great to be able to tour other onsite cottages. Our room's bathroom was dirty. There were yellow stains along the wall base grout and yellow stains around the toilet base. Also the hallways and elevator floors were dirty. They looked like they had not been vacuumed in a week or...

"For an affordable oceanfront property this place hits the mark. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is an older hotel but they do an amazing job at keeping it up. Is it high end place? no limit your expectations. It’s a very nice clean affordable place to stay oceanfront. The breakfast is good and staff keep the area clean and the buffet full. "

"Great location!! Loved that it was within walking distance of River Walk and City Market. We stayed in a river view balcony room and I would have preferred it had a better cleaning. Floors were sticky and with the dark color wood you can see all the dust. Also thought it was strange there was no trash bin in the bathroom. Wish there would have been a refrigerator in the room as well. The bed was comfy but could tell it was an older mattress (lumpy and low spots). Was disappointed about the size...
