Food I have never tasted to be so amazing! Always have the lamb medium rare you won’t regret it. Welcome drinks on arrival and they let you enjoy everything how you want to not how they expect you too. "This is a recently renovated old hotel. It still has that grand hotel ambience. It's a little off the city center but is still quite easy to walk to all the things you want to see or eat. The sea view is actually a view of the ferry port, so that's not much. The breakfast is excellent. Overall, it's quite nice. "

"Lots of nice pools including a full olympic sized lap pool and many other various pools. Lots of water slides, pools, and playgrounds for kids. Great food in the main dining hall, and several nice restaurants (all are buffet style but the food was very good). Well kept, smoothly run, friendly staff."

"We had a wonderful holiday at Bella Beach. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the vibe was friendly and relaxed. It benefits from being a smaller hotel, when compared with some of the adjacent properties. We stayed in late October, so the hotel was naturally quieter, but there was still plenty on offer for guests, and particularly for families. A couple of the noted facilities (mini golf etc.) are no longer available on site, but that didn't detract from our stay. The location is also good; 20mins drive from Heraklion airport and within 60-90mins of many of the popular attractions. Our only observation is that some guests may feel that the five-star rating is misleading, but I think that's possibly a subjective point. This is a quality hotel, but it isn't the high-end luxury that some might expect of five stars. However, it is still excellent and, frankly, suited us better as a family just the way it was. "

"We were stunned at how beautiful the property was. It had many restaurants to choose from, some of the best resort/hotel food we've had. Even an ice cream/crepe bar! Staff was welcoming, warm and friendly. The spa was great. I didn't want to leave b/c they had everything there on the property. Would def come back again and recommend to friends."
