"Good location...next to subway and in Old Montreal"
Very nice hotel. Pool was small but comfortable. Parking as usual is very expensive. Really liked being next to subway. Bought 3 day pass and visited all over city. Beds are comfortable and clean. Decor is usual. Blackout drapes actually blackout!! Love the dual shower head from Westin. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

"In the middle of it all"
We spent three nights at the Hotel Nelligan and were very pleased by the size of the room, the staff and the proximity to all that is the Old City of Montreal.

"Great location!"
Mom(54) and daughter(31) vacation, montreal and quebec for 5nights from usa. Location was perfect in old port area. Breakfast is a big plus, incl. Hot food to order, yummy. Main old town shops and cafe right behind our hotel, st.paul street. Notre dame very close by and also china town for a nice dimsum for lunch. We even tried the hotels restaurant for dinner on our last night and that was very good. Metro is also very easy to use and I recommend buying a 3 day metro pass which includes the 747 airport bus to downtown and then a 10 dollar cab ride to hotel, thats incl the tip.

"Heaven. Luxury without the pretense."
The hotel is beautiful from the outside, to the lobby, and to the individual rooms. On arrival, I was treated to a cappuccino while they prepared my room. I was early. The cappuccino wasn't good, but it was a nice treat so I cannot complain. Plus, the staff were friendly. Entering the room, I was surprised to see just how super clean it actually was. If there had been a spot or speck in the entire place, I would have found it -- and I looked, but much to my satisfaction there wasn't. The room was immaculate. I went out for a bit and returned to find sweets left for me by the hotel management. Thank you! At night, the turn down service was amazing. It also included a bottle of water beside the bed. In fact, the service in general was amazing. I love that they had even prepared the bar for me including filling the bucket with ice. It's like they knew I would be drinking! The bed was inviting. I slept well. Overall, the furnishings were great. There was a ton of storage space in case you need it, though I only stayed 2 nights. The windows opened so I could enjoy some fresh air. The flowers in the mini-balconies were an especially nice touch. Checkout was also a breeze. They held onto my luggage while I enjoyed the rest of the day out and about in the city. On my return, Jonathan L. collected my bags, called a taxi to take me to the airport, and assisted with my bags. The entire staff is attentive, detail-oriented and friendly. I wish I could thank them each individually.

"Exceptional hotel in Old Montreal"
I travel frequently and this hotel is a gem. The staff was incredible - very friendly, helpful and responsive. This is a very cozy hotel with a small but good bar and restaurant. The room was very clean, spacious and quiet. The location is superb and convenient to excellent and interesting sites and tourist destinations. It was also very close to the running trail which I took full advantage of. I would strongly recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again. I would put this hotel at the top of it's class.

"Beyond criticism"
It's an hotel that caters to a style and taste, and the tasting menu is an experience. The staff across the board is witty, helpful and attentive if needs be. The atmosphere is calm and pleasurable differentiating it from the rush of most hotels. Yet it is near most facilities that are internationally relevant for the city. Would never go any where else in Montreal.
