"Hôtel bien situé dans la Vieux Montréal"
Cet hôtel nous a charmé par son décor chaleureux d'une autre époque. Le séjour fut agréable car le personnel est courtois et accueillant. Le stationnement gratuit fut apprécié et nous a permis une petite escapade à pied à travers les rues du Vieux-Montréal.

"Even better than expected"
When we arrived at check-in, the concierge asked us if we wanted to upgrade our room to the penthouse suite. It wasn't that much more expensive than our regular room, and boy am I glad I decided to splurge. The room had two king-sized bedrooms, 2 full baths, a spacious living room/dining room and small kitchen and a HUGE private terrace that overlooked the Montreal skyline. Probably too large for just the two of us, but we couldn't have been more thrilled with the accommodations.

"The perfect experience!"
From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Free room upgrade, sweets sent up from the kitchen, impeccable service from the valets, and the hotel itself is in a great, central location in Old Montreal. Both hotel restaurants, the Kyo sushi bar and the Suite 1701 were fantastic and our server at the latter, Gavin, was top-tier, with excellent wine and food suggestions and perfect, friendly service. I would reccomend the Hotel Place D'Armes to anyone who wants an exceptional experience. *****

"The Finest Hotel Montreal Has to Offer!"
Not one to write reviews, this amazing hotel inspired me. The St. James is a true 5 star experience in every way. Anyone traveling to Montreal and is looking for opulence and elegance would be remiss to stay elsewhere. The hotel is luxurious and was the perfect romantic getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant located in the St. James, called XO, is the most beautiful and elegant restaurant we have ever seen with food that is worthy of the decor. The showers are incredible with amazing pressure that feels more like a massage. The bed linens are also top notch. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Without the right people running the place, all the other attributes would be meaningless. Well, the staff is equally amazing and make you feel like royalty.

"Great Location in Old Montreal"
Had a delightful stay here December 30/31, 2014. The hotel is an old building with lots of charm but not as charming as Naima who makes you really feel like a welcome guest! The hotel is walking distance to all the interesting parts of the old city and some very nice restaurants. Easy parking is also a short walking distance away. There is no one at the front desk in the evening hours or on holidays, but there is a code to get into the building and an emergency number if necessary. I have no reservation recommending this hotel!
