Terrific staff; lovely clean renovated rooms

You really can’t beat the location! We had a room overlooking the water, and there was more than enough space for two people. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Since we were celebrating our honeymoon, they left us a lovely card and sent up a complimentary dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. The valet service was also quick and seamless. We would absolutely stay here again if we’re ever back in Auckland!

Great stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and it had a kitchenette and a jacuzzi!! Plenty of car parking spaces. Grocery store and restaurants are about 10-15 of walk.

Excellent stay, starting from the communication from the hotel, to check in and very courteous front desk person. The room was very clean with a kitchenette. Location was great, very walkable and close to restaurants and grocery store. They don’t have car parking, I found street car parking which was free from 6pm until 8 am the next day, which worked out for me. The hotel can assist with parking for a daily charge of NZ$25

Good for a quick stop over. Clean, spacious room with a great menu for breakfast & dinner. Nice lake walk loop accessible on foot from the property. Super service from all the staff. Very welcoming. My only critique would be that the bath towels were thin and not very soft.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. Right near the coastal walkway and walking distance to the park. Our suite was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. If you need to park a vehicle it's a good idea to reserve a spot ahead of time. We didn't, but luckily there were two spots left. Lastly, Janine at reception is an absolute gem!

Nice hotel

This motel has been completely renovated and is beautiful. Just a 5-6 minute walk into the heart of town. At the end of the block heading for town is a beautiful sand beach. Great stay!

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff are amazing and my room was 10/10.

Luxury hotel

Definitely one of best hotels I have ever been. Clean and quiet room with a nice view on the sky tower. Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast comes with a good variety of hot and cold options (you can order your own omelette). Location is very convenient and walking distance to downtown and the harbour. There are also bus stops by the hotel (public transport is very reliable).

Good stay

Excellent stay, starting from the very courteous, friendly and helpful staff to the amenities and walkability. The room was clean and they have a laundry area that guests can use. They don’t have parking g, but a public car garage is opposite of the hotel and I found the pricing to be reasonable compared to street car parking charges.

We absolutely loved our stay! The best part of the hotel was definitely the location. It made everything so easy, especially with our day trips, as the tour shuttles could pick us up right from the hotel. There was also so much shopping, great food, and everything we needed within easy walking distance. The staff were incredible from the moment we arrived.
