Upon arrival we discovered that we were booked into a smaller room than we reserved and were told to wait for an hour at the bar (free drink offered) for the hotel owner to arrive and sort things out. Instead we went for a swim and when we came back the hotel staff found more than suitable alternative. We got a family suite with a view of the sea and two bathrooms. Our daughter slept on a day bed and didn’t complain while we had a decent sleep woken up early by the daylight because shutters...

Convenient location on the fringe of Old Frejus. Everything was clean and organized. Quaint room as expected with old boutique hotel. Amazing pool. The restaurant was tremendous, the food outstanding and desserts unbelievable.
Not sure when we might get back to Frejus, but we would stay at Hotel L’Arena again!

Enjoyed the hotel. Owners were very helpful. It was steps to the lovely beach. The breakfast was superb and it was served in a lovely garden. We wanted to stay at Saint Tropez first, but realized that prices there quite high thats how we ended up in Saint Maxime. And we are thankful for that. There is boat going to Saint Tropez from Saint Maxime every hour, and it takes 20 min to get there, it costs 15 euros and it is definitely worth it.
